Good location, ideal for touring Valetta. Bus Station and Taxi's close by, excellent for shopping and dining. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again.

It was a great stay overall. Definitely loud staying over the Main Street, but it’s worth the great location. The rooftop terrace is great with an even better view. Would absolutely stay here again the next time in Malta

Very responsive staff regarding late check-in. Uber dropped us half a block away. Location ideal to explore Valletta on foot. Room is enormous and bed comfy. We didn’t think to check Malta outlets ahead of time for our one-day side trip from Italy; thankfully the room had USB ports to charge phones. Cool rooftop terrace view (& elevator). Breakfast is a short walk away; much better than typical w choice of menu items in addition to buffet.

The big advantage of this hotel is its location - right in the centre of things. Everything is a short walk away and it is surrounded by great bars and restaurants, and the room was not noisy at night either. The hotel is tiny so breakfast is served at an establishment a short walk away - but this too is excellent with both a buffet and menu choices. The hotel also has a rooftop bar/terrace which catches the sun and an excellent place for a cocktail before you head out on the town. All staff we met were delightful.

Very nice place to stay in Valletta. The breakfast was excellent but a short walk from hotel. Staff was not always present to answer questions but Malta is beautiful.

Located in centre of Valletta. Easy walk to museums, churches, bus station, bars and restaurants. I had a very large room with a shady outside area. Does not have its own restaurant or breakfast room but has arrangement with nearby (250m) bar for a very adequate breakfast. Otherwise plenty of choice nearby.
Very busy, lively location at night with bars and restaurants open til after midnight.

The room was spacious with a small balcony.

The hotel is right in the centre, and you can walk absolutely everywhere from there. There are obviously plenty of restaurants, bars, etc. in the area.The staff was extremely friendly.

Nice room. Air-conditioning was quite good, which is imperative in Malta in the summer. Free water the first night, but for no nights after that. Staff all very nice and friendly. Breakfast at another location (5-minute walk) was quite good and there, too, the staff were lovely.Good, central location in walking distance of all that Valletta has to offer.

City Centre Hotel

The hotel is situated in a great location , with shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Staff are friendly and helpful. Clean and tidy room. The only down side is the soundproof of the hotel , very noisy from the street outside. Next to the hotel there’s a construction work going on , which was very noisy when they start work in the morning.

We, friends, arrived at the Hotel Manoel at night. A very friendly, likeable young man greeted us at reception. We even had a choice of rooms, as it was winter and the hotel was not fully booked. He gave us lots of information and waited patiently for us to decide which room we wanted.
The hotel is small with large rooms, some with balconies. From the roof terrace you have a fantastic view of the dome of the Carmelite Church in Valletta. As soon as you step out of the hotel you are in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Valletta. Everything was within walking distance. 
After 5 days at the hotel we can say that almost all the staff are friendly and helpful. There was only one dispute with an unfriendly and not very cooperative female receptionist with the first name K., after there was no breakfast offer.

Fantastic

The location of the hotel is great, right next to the Grand Master's palace, excellent for sightseeing. Our room was in the back, so we did't experience noise, but I guess it's noisy in the front. They gave us a room in the back right above the ventilators, even though I asked for a quiet room because of a baby. Changed it after one night, it was ok after that. It was pretty clean, the housekeeping lady was nice, but one day they didn't change our towels and coffe cups we had to go to the reception, the man who was cleaning that day gave us new ones after intervention. The reception staf was nice and friendly. Breakfast was ok, the food was good quality but poor choice. It is located 5 min from the hotel, not far, but be prepared to walk and it is a bit steep when you go back to the hotel. Not in the direction of atractions. They have buffet and a la carte but when you order a la carte be prepared to wait. One morning we waited for 40 minutes. The other 30minutes. Coffe was ok.

Decent

Good location, good condition, good breakfast (some 300 m away).Security was rather lax, but everything worked out.
