Where cat and dog are comfortable, we tried excellent fresh regional food in the garden. A friendly, open-minded bask served us well and advised us knowledgeably, so we had a relaxed time. The hotel is almost barrier-free, the staff is very helpful. And Madame is beautiful!!!

With a Bongo, we do not regret our choice to combine hiking in the Luxembourgish Little Switzerland with a welcoming hotel. Very friendly and caring staff, quality of meals (the highlight of the house), spacious room (Lisboa room), perfect litter.

Weekend getaway

From the last review of  29th April 2015 I arrived at this hotel with trepidation. Firstly, it looks nothing like the photograph submitted; indeed, I didn't recognise the location and surrounding properties, which is unfortunate for the owner. (Trip Advisor please take note - the photograph submitted by Amanda S with her review dated 29th April 2015 is of the wrong property. Please correct this mistake).
The room was spotless if slightly dated, and the corridors could be better lit, but the breakfast room and bar area were bright and airy. I had a  meal of Pintade in the dining room which was excellent, and if I was in the area would stay again. Across the road, there is a pleasant riverside walk.

Good hotel in a beautiful area of Luxembourg.

We went there with a bongo:a good quick delivery,a very large room with a bed for lovers.The room was 10cm apart from the mattresses.The shower applet was missing a room that prevented it from being fixed.The prices were exorbitant and the breakfast was very basic.The breadcrumbs were wet inside and they were burning when they were opened, since the ham present had an advanced taste.The coffee was in Turkish fashion with marshmallows.Disappointed.

hotel to forget

We stayed here one night and were warmly welcomed. The staff were very attentive. The rooms were clean and large. Everything worked as it should. We were pleasantly surprised at dinner, it was really a great pleasure and versatile. At breakfast there was everything you need to get well into the day. We can only recommend this hotel.

That's great.

The room we had booked via Bongo was spacious, well lit, very clean, comfortable and coquette. The toilets were spacious. It is a small family hotel very quiet inside. On the other hand, it is located near a very busy crossroads. This is a disadvantage and an advantage because the hotel is at the entrance of the Luxembourgish Little Switzerland, so you can radiate and discover great places. The evening meal was very refined and well presented. One bemoal, the prices are quite high, especially for wines. Classic but complete lunch.

What a wonderful discovery

This is completely wrong. We had received a good bongo from our children. Very welcoming, discreet, kind, caring staff. The meals were excellent. Despite our bongo we had a very nice room. Very nice and more than recommended!!!

Answering the Negative Opinion

Nice size, very quiet room at the back of the establishment (except when the client upstairs is taking his shower) but unfortunately that's all that's positive.. otherwise, there's no wifi in the room as well as in the Resto of the hotel. No electrical outlet in the dresser to make a hot drink. No French channels while we're in a neighboring and French-speaking country. As for the bathroom, poorly lit, the shower is tiny and without a handle, not practical at all and the toilets are not separated. Bath tubs are small sized and the products, shampoo and other shampoos are no longer topical!... finally, enough breakfast! For a limited breakfast, we can hope for a lot better... Luxembourg Lamentable... 11/20!

The comfort of Spartans!

Booked this hotel for an overnight business trip, looking for somewhere reasonably priced, not too far from the city centre and a good star rating.
Eventually Arrived here at about 9pm and this hotel is quite literally in the middle of nowhere (although there were quite a few road diversions and the scenery was beautiful) and basically we turned up and turned around again. Was not expecting a caravan yard on site and no lights anywhere to be seen, also looked a bit scary to be honest. I have posted a photo taken last night (29/04/15) so that you can all see an actual recent photo. The only thing that perhaps made sense was the reasonable price, and there is a good reason for it - this does not seem to me to be a 4 star hotel at all!

Didn't even go inside

We enjoyed two nights at the hotel. The food was exquisite. We were very well advised, the food was first class and the price was second class. We are convinced that a small but fine hotel here with a first class kitchen is always worth a recommendation. Thank you, Mr. David Albert for the wonderful weekend.
