Toyoko Inn Tokyo Asakusa Senzoku Tsukuba Express

My wife and I spent a week here during our first visit to Japan. The reception was respectful and polite. While some didn't speak perfect English, we were able to understand and communicate. We had our luggage shipped to the hotel from Haneda airport via JAL ABC, and they held on to it until we arrived. (Our flight arrived around 4:30am, and check in was 4pm). We had no issues with other guests, as it seemed like many people in Japan show the utmost respect in every aspect of life. Our room was very quite, although a bit small with the king size bed. The bed was a bit harder than we are used to. The bathroom was small, but clean. The tub was very deep, and there was a soap/shampoo dispenser as opposed to small travel sized soaps. Cleaning is done from 10am-4pm, but there were a couple of occasions where we needed to come back to our rooms early, and we were quickly accommodated. Breakfast was very good, although seating was a bit difficult to find if we arrived as soon as breakfast started at 7am. We decided to arrive between 8:30 and 9, and seating was fine later on. There are two clothes washers and dryers located on the main floor, with a soap vending machine which we did use. Next to the elevators were two vending machines which had regular and alcoholic drinks. The elevators were a bit small, but space is at a premium in Tokyo. It is in a good location, about a 5 minute walk from the Tsukuba Express, Don Quijote, 7/11, Family Mart, and a supermarket. The Asakusa market area is very close, as is the Asakusa Shrine. We have already decided that we will stay here again on our next trip.
