Shinagawa Prince Hotel 

I booked this hotel without realizing just how many advantages it would offer, and I was pleasantly surprised on several fronts. First, the hotel is a service point for the Luxury Bus Service from Narita Airport, so I was able to get off right at the main building reception — very convenient for arrival. I did notice that there are several Shinagawa Prince Hotel buildings within the same complex (the Main Tower, Annex Tower, etc.), but finding my way to the right one wasn't an issue at all. The location is excellent — just across the road from Shinagawa Station, which gives you access to city trains, intercity trains, and even the Narita Express. If you want to explore Tokyo with ease, this is an ideal base. The complex itself is packed with amenities: plenty of good restaurants, convenience shops, and a shopping area, plus a gaming and bowling zone that I really enjoyed. There's also an aquarium within the complex, which was a nice surprise. The rooms were comfortable, though mine wasn't especially spacious — a minor point that was easily offset by everything else on offer. The in-house cafe and restaurant were both enjoyable too. Staff were helpful every time I needed assistance. Overall, a well-located hotel with excellent transport links and plenty to do without ever leaving the complex. Recommended for anyone wanting an easy, well-connected stay in Tokyo.
