We stayed in Room 21 for 3 nights and it was a great base for exploring Venice. The property is minutes away from St Mark's Square and the Rialto bridge but feels secluded and peaceful. The apartment itself is great - very spacious and well-equipped, including stove, microwave, dishwasher and mini-bar fridge. The mattress was on the firm side though. The bathroom was also very spacious with double sinks and a large rain shower.The reception is only staffed during the day and the front entrance is locked after hours, but we contacted the property by email to inform them that we were arriving late at night, and they were happy to provide us with a digital key (via an app) to access the property and pick up the room key from the reception desk. The two women who were at the reception on different days were both very kind and happily attended to all our requests, including to borrow plug adapters and to have a later check-out (since no one was booked in our room the following day).

Additional information

In accordance with the Institutional Regulations and the rules governing the fee for access, with or without a shuttle service, in Venice and the small islands of the Venetian Lagoon, an additional fee is charged to day-trippers who do not stay overnight and plan to visit the historic city centre from Friday to Sunday or on public holidays, from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM. The fee will be from EUR 5.00 to 10.00 per day, depending on the date of booking. After payment, tourists must have a confirmation. Exempt from this fee are children under 14; residents of Venice and the Veneto region; people working or studying in Venice. Guests staying overnight are also exempt from this fee and must pay the city tax at the accommodation facilities.

A cleaning tax is not included in the reservation price and is payable separately at the hotel.
