We recently stayed in Garni Sayonara in Selva di Val Gardena for three nights while exploring the magnificent Dolomites for two glorious days. Two members of our group had a wonderful experience from their previous stays at Garni Sayonara, one of the few hotels that stay open year-round, with others closing during the off-season. Lucia, the owner, and operator of Garni Sayonara, is a warm, charming, friendly, engaging, and extremely helpful host who shows great care for her guests. Our group of six booked an entire floor comprising four rooms, each with two single beds and its sink, a kitchen with appliances, a sitting room, and two bathrooms with toilets and shower and one with a bath-all very clean and well maintained. Lucia’s place offers a wonderful hearty breakfast spread, eggs, and cold cuts. The hotel is centrally situated close to town and shopping areas. Lucia’s Garni Sayonara made our magical trip to the Dolomites more memorable.
