79 reviewsWe came in the late afternoon and was warmly welcomed and immediatly feel like coming home. The fridge in the room was full with fresh fruits and cold mineral water. We don't speak italian but we had a lot of nice conversations with Alberto and Gina, the owners of Villa Apollonia, in english/italian/french. The homemade breakfast was excellent: Foccacia, crostini, different type of cheese, prosciutto, salami, fruit-salad, tomato-salad (from their own garden), eggs … Selfmade cakes, cookies and jam from Gina, which was delicious! The Accomodation is located on the end of a quiet road in a big garden with a nice pool to relax. Perfect to visit the beach but also the region around like Alberobello, Ostuni, Matera, Martina Franca etc. But the best are Gina and Alberto, who give you tipps, help to reserve a table in the restaurant and sometimes even inviting you for a tasty home dinner with a glass of local wine. For sure we will be back!
