B&B Il Vecchio Mulino

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 4 nights from 12 - 16 April and we were amazed at how lovely the b & b is and the owner Ombretta. As soon as we arrived Ombretta was on hand to help with checking in and answering our questions. We were shown to our room which was the yellow one (mimosa) which had a balcony. What a refreshing change to our previous b & b in Venice which although nice was traditional and old fashioned, the room was bright, clean and modern with lots of little added touches. Ombretta has clearly put a lot of thought into the tiniest things from matching towels to a chocolate bunny and small bottle of prosecco for our arrival. The breakfasts were fabulous and again Ombretta could not do enough to make us feel welcome. Whether you are vegetarian/vegan/gluten free there was something for everyone at breakfast. As for location it was perfect just a short walk to Gardone Riviera or a 15 minute walk to Salo, all against the backdrop of Lake Garda's beautiful mountain scenery. We could not recommend this place more highly and if we return to Lake Garda we will book here again.
