Very good South Tyrolean cuisine, cozy guest room and very nice staff. Not without reason the inn was well visited. The inn is a little outdoors but the journey is worth it. Anyone who wants can walk high and take the bus back to the valley after eating.

Very good country food

Unfortunately, I have to say we ate little and paid a lot, a Brettlmarende with a little cheese with a little speck maybe 200 grams a citrus and what makes me angry when they cut you one sandwich into two pieces.

Eating cheap high price

We were in Eppan for the first time and by chance landed in the Wieser Inn. What a blessing! Escape from the everyday hustle and bustle of home and within a few minutes of arrival in an idyllic, quiet and very beautiful environment meet the very nice and friendly hosts. Very good food, excellent breakfast and right above the house begin the beautiful hiking trails. The view from the terrace into the valley is also unique. We come back in any case.

Holidays in Eppan

We had been here in summer of 2019, just a few days as part of an Italy trip. Now, in need for a short break, we booked a 10 days Wednesday till Sunday short break. It didn’t disappoint again. 

This hotel seems at the end of the world when you start driving up the winding road but that is part if what you get. A home away from home. Excellent hosts. Unbelievable view. That breakfast would not make anyone complain in a 5 star hotel. Did I mention the unbelievable breakfast. 

A small, not too small!, swimming pool and nice sun bath area. Who needs an infinity pool if you have infinity view on Rosengarten and Latemar mountain range across the Eppan valley. 

Enjoy the local kitchen. Excellent local wine. 

Shopping and sightseeing in Bozen, Meran or a short drive to Brixen. 

Walking? Wherever you want. From easy walks to tough climbs. The Dolomite area offers it all

Gasthof Wieser as a central point, a retreat, to discover this all, will not disappoint. Bring a book, or two

After Corona Break

If you are on vacation in the mountains near Bolzano, you should not miss this Gasthof. The personnel is very cordial and kind. The food is very good and well cooked with fresh products from the nearby farmers. If you should eat outside the restaurant you would enjoy the wonderful view of the mountains around. Definitely advised.

Nice food, nice people

We had lunch at the restaurant of this structure on Sunday, found by chance while driving to Predonico. We ordered a Wienerschnitzel with fries, a steamed calf with contour, a strudel and a slice of cake with saraceno grain, two coffees, two beers. Everything is good according to the South Tyrolean tradition. Pleasant location (beautiful view from the veranda with all the snowy landscape), welcoming and informal. Punctual and courteous service. Pleasant outdoor parking. Fair and transparent prices. Everything according to German customs and quality standards.

Gasthof is friendly and informal.

We arrived here a couple of years ago going to Torgel, every year for us it is a fixed stop when the period of chestnuts and Suser (the fermented must) begins. This year we stopped for lunch and we were not disappointed, good dishes and abundant, prices in line with the place.

It's a quiet, idyllic location in Eppan-Perdonig, about 6 km from the centre of St. Michael. South Tyrolean cuisine, very generous portions at a reasonable price, are served. Very pleasant detail: the espresso is very hot and comes in well-heated cups. A quick and friendly service roundens the whole picture. I like to come here again and again!

It's always worth a visit.

In addition to being a typical high-end restaurant, the cuisine is also worthy: from the classic sliced dish like snack to chestnuts and krapfen after dinner, everything is really good.

Snacks and dinner

We had lunch today with the family, a gasthof on the hills overlooking the Appiano and the wonderful wine street. Even today the weather also allowed us to have lunch outside in front of a beautiful lawn with toy items or other tools to spend half a day relaxing. Good dishes in the menu proposal like the Milanese bowl, or calf and pork dots with excellent contours, also excellent house desserts like vanilla ice cream with warm lamps. After a walk on the adjoining trails we returned for the snack that they prepared based on local caldarrosts accompanied by the freshly squeezed must. Service and prices in the environment, family and family, I advise.
