I liked the vibe of this place. Not like your typical hotel. Stayed here with husband and 4 year old child for 2 nights in August. Very comfortable beds and relaxing bedroom, funky decor, ugh industrial-type carpet. But clean. Didn't like the bathroom, felt hostel-like or even like a sports grounds changing room (all tiled and grout was grubby looking, shower over bath, basic toilet and sink, noisy fan which was needed as no window) and could do with a makeover (daylight needed....could imagine glass blocks, bright or dark colours with warm lighting, big shower, lose the bath, lose the tiles). Loved the breakfast which had lots of variety and plentiful. Very nice relaxing common room which looked great at night, hammocks, fairy lights.... Charged €25 extra per night for child which in hindsight I felt was excessive. However we enjoyed and felt comfortable, relaxed and well fed and would stay again.
