Planning a re-visit with extended family

A small, quiet and peaceful accommodation right on the highway, just 4 kms before Renuka Lake. A literal manifestation of the Hindi word ‘Ekant’, with just garden and trees around it, all you hear is the birds chirping throughout the day. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Food is prepared as per guest’s preference, which is simple, wholesome and homely. Overall a very nice place for a small getaway.

Beautiful property, very close to Renuka Lake, which is the main tourist destination in the region. Staff is very hospitable and well behaved. They just have 4 rooms, so it is also ideal for small groups to book the whole property. They have ample space for parking and other outdoor activities and games. I hope to visit again soon and stay at Ekant.

Nice place, serenity is found here. Peaceful . one can do according to his choice as there is peace here. Value for money too. so, be assured to have a nice time here. This is place comes before the Renuka lake.

Great quiet location not too far from the lake, staff is helpful and efficient. The rooms are basic but spacious and clean, expect made to order good regular home cooked food. They have running hot water and clean linen. A spacious parking lot and ample place to walk around. In all a nice place to spend a day far from the madness of the town and tourist cues. By far the best property around Renuka lake far better than the ramshackle  government accommodation opposite the lake. 

We zeroed in on Ekanth Guest House solely through the excellent reviews it had received on TripAdvisor. We were not disappointed. Serene surroundings, exceptionally courteous and helpful staff--if small in number--added to the experience. We were bowled over by the sincere, remarkably non-commercial approach of the property owner. Wholesome, simple, home-cooked food was a bonus. A wonderful getaway from the city bustle.

It's 4-5 Km before renuka lake. It's cheap and functional. Don't expect any luxury. You will find nice service staff but it's better to tel them your plans in advance, so they can prepare for your lunch/dinner. There are hardly any visitors here- you can be the only one at times, so giving prior notice helps. You can yourself use the kitchen if you are interested in cooking something on your own.

There is nothing much around here as well. You can talk a walk around property and follow the water stream. Not like your typical hotel but for a relaxed stay.

Located exactly 5KMs before the lake, right on the road - very easy to spot.
Well maintained.
Ample Parking Space. 
Little overpriced considering its a guest house.
No inverter/generator.
No menu in the kitchen. There is thali system in dinner and fixed menu for b/fast but prices are not mentioned anywhere for the customers to know beforehand and decide accordingly.
The owner did not seem interested in meeting the customers. Not present even at the time of billing. The cook/caretaker takes care of all things. We wanted to meet the owner as it goes a  long way in making the staying experience good. But sadly couldnt.
Overall a good place for one night stay with family.
