Menal Jungle Safari Resort

Stopped for lunch on route from Udaipur to Ranthambore, and went to a nearby temple/waterfall.

Food was good, we had the butter chicken with rice and breads. Service fine, clearly somewhere a few tour companies stop as we saw some other tourists arrive as we were leaving. 

No complaints on the food. Would recommend asking to see the waterfall before you leave, it’s a great view from the back of the hotel (our driver said the restaurant used to be there pre-Covid).

Menal resort surrounded by hills and water falls. If you are love of nature then this is a best place to stay. Food quality is excellent and staff is cooperative. Road connectivity is also good. Over all we enjoy the place. 

The resort is visible from the Mahanal temples, which we were visiting, and we then came here for lunch. The place looked clean and was clean and one could have a great view from here over the gorge with the waterfall, already dried up in November after a weak monsoon. The building is constructed in Rajasthani style with an arched gallery around a courtyard, but with modern furniture in the restaurant.

They have a big menu card with all the classical Indian dishes, but also some Chinese plates like Chow Mein (which was not available) and Club Sandwich, which we then ordered. There was a friendly, professional waiter, who also explained us how to get from here to the Joghaniya Mata temple, a popular pilgrimage site. A nice touch was the little daughter of the manager, who came all smiles to our table to say hello.

Best resort everything is good satf is good room super clean. Food is good. I have dal and chapti test is good . Beetu is really good server and he makes customers happy. I have tea also test was really good 

Great place to visit. It is near the Menal waterfalls. It is a place which is famous for it's waterfall. Best time to visit is between July to September. You can also go to a Famous Jogniya Mataji Temple which is nearly 10 km. And don't forget to book a room in Menal Resort as this is a real gem.

Room is big and clean and food is delicious. Hotel staff is cooperative. Location is very good for menal waterfall. Nice view of waterfall from hotel. What else we can desire from a hotel.
Near hotel you can visit some temples also. Waterfall runs on rainy season only, so only time to visit is between mid July to start September.

We stopped both ways to have lunch at this resort. It has a scenic view. Restaurant serves quick. Tasty and hot food. We could relax and have good decent lunch both times in onwards and return from Ranthambore. Hygiene is the only minus point so that I have given 4 stars otherwise 5.

If you need a planned stop en route from Jaipur to Udaipur, this is a great pick. 

We assumed a regular roadside stop but we were greeted with great service and delicious food; the chicken tikka masala warrants particular mention. Sit outside on the terrace to take advantage of the stunning views of the Menal waterfall and canyon.
