Buda Castle Apartments

We stayed here as a couple and a teenager. The apartment was well equipped: kitchen, bathroom with separate wc, bedroom with a double bed, alcove with a single bed, living room with a double bed and corner sofa which would accommodate another person plus the tv - which had an English movie channel. It was not as shown in the advert picture, but a 70s renovation situated on the 3rd floor so no good for anyone with mobility issues. The location was great though, 2mins from the bus to town, 5mins from the castle. There was a café on street level and a supermarket within 2mins walk. As it's near the castle be prepared to pay a little more for food and drinks. We arranged for a transfer from the airport, €25. We were met by a woman with a placard with several names on it, who ordered each of the arriving guests to wait beside her and not to go anywhere then ignored everyone and concentrated on her smartphone - not the most pleasant of welcomes, it made me wonder what kind place we'd booked. The driver arrived and was very pleasant and helpful, he took us to the apartment and showed us around. There was no check-out, you just locked up and dropped the keys into a mailbox. Overall it was good value and I would stay there again.
