Hungaria Guesthouse

Were helpful from the start when we added an extra person to the booking and this was no bother, as well as arranging an airport transfer for us. The first owner seemed incredibly angry, when we arrived and throughout, but the second was lovely (and even let us off having 50c too little cash). Location is brilliant, 1 minute from a tram, 10 minutes from the metro both of which are no more than 15 mins out from the centre. SPAR shop was only a short walk away with a larger Tesco nearby too. Only real negative for us was the lack of air con, sure the fan provided is fine sometimes but in the middle of a 36C heatwave it did very little to prevent the heat (or bugs - definitely bring bug spray!). Was a little noisy too, but this seemed to mostly be down to other guests themselves which can’t be helped. All in all, would definitely recommend to anyone travelling with friends, maybe less to to families simply due to the ‘shared’ nature.
