The location is amazing and the host was nice.
Sadly, the place was rather dirty. Lots of dirty bed linens in the hallway, dust on the shelfs. One of the bathrooms could really use proper cleaning, it smelled quite badly and the bathroom rag was quite disgusting. 
Also, it was cold in the room. There was around 6 degrees during night and the heating was not on. Fortunately I had additional blanket.

Great location, but dirty

It's a convenient location. Even in the middle of the night, they found it quickly. The administrator is not there 24 hours a day, so they settled in late at night, according to detailed instructions. The hostel itself has an unpleasant smell. The room is very cold.

For non-claimants

The hostel is situated in the inner city of budapest, 5 to 15 minutes walk will get you through the old city, places and bridges.
As a bonus the Airport shuttle Bus 100E Kalvin Ter station is 200 meters near.
The host is very friendly and very responsive by email, phone or sms..
Room, Bathrooms and kitchen are clean, prices are also very affordable.
Tips : 
There's a printing service right across the street called copy guru ( for plane tickets)
and several bars and pubs and Turkish kebabs..

Great experience

The hostel is located in a classic old building apartment. All rooms were clean and tidy. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. A clean and functional hostel with a great location in the Pester Old Town. Metro just around the corner as well as various restaurants and a 24-hour supermarket as well as the large market hall. Price-performance ratio has voted.

The place is lovely and the owners are also! always ready to help and guide us. cleaning is not the best, the rooms are old and quite noisy. yes, very well located! in the heart of the city. to stop for a couple of days is fine.

We have what we pay for! Martin is very hospitable, he emailed us with all the directions to the hostel, the recommendations not to be rolled around and gave us information about a plan at our arrival... atypical decoration... a large apartment with rooms, an Sdb with toilet and two showers, another with a bathtub and other toilets.. kitchen and small living room, refrigerator, extendoir.. bath towels available.

Good for cheap

We stayed in this hostel for three nights. We leave with the only positive note of the kindness of the owner. Other things are terrible dirty, bad smell in the common areas and rooms, very uncomfortable beds, the only common bathroom that is old and devoid of any functionality. We spent little but the same amount you can opt for other hostels that are newer and cleaner and international than this.

It's terrible.

Very friendly staff. The hostel is located in an excellent position, very clean and quiet. Being a hostel-style apartment there are only 3 rooms, a spacious and well equipped kitchen and a living room. excellent quality price ratio. I would definitely recommend it.

I 'll definitely be back.

My boyfriend and I had booked 4 nights in this hostel by a site that lists all the hotels in the simple youth hostel at 5.* There were pictures, the rooms were simple but looked like rooms. Except that when we arrived at 1am there were no beds reserved for us! We had to take the remaining beds (2 overlapping beds ready to collapse) we had to sleep at 2 in the one downstairs. Besides, the girl who kept the hotel there was completely torn (like most of those who slept there) and finally she asked us for a higher rank than the one that was planned at the time of booking: the boss was never permanently in charge of this to rule our baobabs.
