We stayed here for a week-long mission trip. The staff was gracious, helpful, and paid attention to the details. We ate delicious meals in the garden (breakfast and dinner). Everything was clean. Facility was secure and safe. The three-person room was incredibly spacious.

Home for a Week

 Really friendly and helpful staff, rooms big and very clean. The hotel is located in Zona 10, so you can move around the neighborhood reasonably safely during the day and this area has a very good selection of cafes and restaurants, too.
Breakfast was also very fine. I stayed in this hostel two times, and I will come back next year.

Great place to stay in Guatemala City

Our group was so happy to find the Comfort Hostel.  The rooms are spacious and comfortable.  Each room has an attached bath and shower.  Public areas are cozy and charming, especially the patio where we enjoyed breakfast (included in room) both mornings.  Food was excellent, a very typical, hearty Guatemalan breakfast.  

Secure parking for our driver was a priority and Comfort Hostel was able to accommodate the van in their secure parking garage.  However, this garage only had availability for 2 vehicles and garage space was limited.  This might be unsuitable for larger vans and transports.  

Staff was kind and gracious.  They met my request for early coffee each morning, helped with bags, loading and unloading the van, and were available around the clock for all requests.  

Highly recommend this very nice hotel!

More than a hostel!

I stayed for 4 nights and had a very good experience. The staff is exceptional and they do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast included is a big plus. There are three types: continental, chapin and fruit waffles. My room was very spacious and contained everything needed for a good stay. I only have two comments regarding details that could be improved: the reception area and rooms are somewhat dark, would help a lot more white light; the rooms can get wet, dehumidifiers/AC would be an excellent option.

A good option for business travel!

The hotel meets the principle of the three B's that tourists look for when they arrive at a new destination, because it is good, beautiful and cheap. While on the outside the hotel goes unnoticed -because it is a facade with only garage doors-, on the inside the image is another and passes to a quiet, cozy fort, in which the warmth and great service of its staff - of few people- stands out above all.The rooms are clean and tidy, the free wifi service works perfectly and the shower has hot water all the time.A small garden in the back of the hotel provides a quiet sound to the guests at breakfast time, which can be taken (on tables with shade) or in a small modern place (in a nice porch) - there were high-rise commercial rooms - there is no commercial space - there is no commercial space - but the hotel is not located outside the hotel - although the hotel is not well equipped with a good air-conditioning screen.

A peaceful, safe and economical place in Guatemala City.

This place is called Hostal; however, you get your own comfortable room with a private washroom and everything you need in the room. It seems like a big house adapted to have guests and it is clean and comfortable. It has a few living rooms, dining area, patio and parking. It is decorated with very interesting antiques! The location is great, about 15 minutes from the airport. We did not hear any noises, even though  it is 2 blocks from a bigger street with commerce and restaurants. The personnel is the best, very friendly and helpful.
