I visited the hotel last September & and can’t wait to visit it again this summer. The view from the rooms and the pool area makes you not leave the hotel even for 5 minutes. You can just join your breakfast, work next to the pool and let the staff to spoil you!!! I don’t think that I will stay somewhere else now except Pino di Loto.

After almost a decade of wanting to go to Pino di Loto and never quite making it my mum and I finally decided to go this September for a chilled out girls holiday.  

We ended up booking to stay in two different types of rooms during our stay: a couple of nights in the pino suites, and a couple of nights in the x_ecutive suites.  Both were lovely with nice views and comfy beds, but the x_ecutive suite was a pure bit of luxury with its own private pool and excellent views. 

Breakfast was served daily on the expansive terrace and was one of the nicest I've had whilst on holiday.  Highlights included freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, honey and other produce from the island (think louza and cheeses) and freshly baked pastries and bread. 

We spent our days in a very relaxed manner, breakfast around 9am and then a short stroll down to the beach (our favourite being Lotos) where we would stay for a few of hours before walking back up for a light lunch.  A couple of times we bought pastries and ate them on the beach from the village, but the pool bar also serves light snacks such as Dakos, toasties and bruschetta.  

In the evenings we would then watch the sun set over the Aegean with a glass of wine and some crisps before heading down to Kini for dinner at around 8.30pm.  Terezdina booked us a table a couple of times at our favourite restaurants - "Dyo Tzitzikia Sta Armyrikia" and "Allou Yialou" and we always got some of the best tables in the house when Terezdina booked for us.  Both were very reasonable value (my mum and I don't go for fish, so it was about 35 euros for two with half a litre of wine). 

Overall it has been one of the best holidays I have had in years and I am already hoping that we will be going back soon.

This small, but perfectly formed Boutique hotel, is simply stunning, from the moment you arrive Terezdina and her staff make you feel so welcome. The Hotel is in a wonderful position, perched above the lovely seaside village of Kini. The rooms are beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and all have spectacular views.

Pino di Loto was the perfect stay to start our Greek holiday. We stayed 4 nights, and it was so peaceful, relaxing and welcoming, that I cannot thank Terezdina enough for her kind hospitality. We will definitely be visiting again :)

The ownership and staff at Pino di Loto are truly special. They make you feel like family from the beginning of the day with a made to order breakfast to a late afternoon swim in the pool with spectacular views and an early evening drink as the sun sets over the Aegean. Such a wonderful experience. The rooms offer all the amenities you expect in a luxury boutique hotel. It is not to be missed on a stay in Syros.

If you have lost faith that there are good people and magical places in this world, then come to Pino di Loto and have that faith restored. It is hard to put into words our experience. The view. The room. The pool. The food. The service. The amazing staff. 

However appealing Pino seems from TripAdvisor and the website, none of that does justice to how wonderful, special, and perfect really the place is. It was exactly what we dreamed of.

It’s not hard to get there. It’s just a quick ferry away from Athens or Mykonos. 

We stayed in the Executive Suite, highly recommended! A highlight for us was definitely the 2 full bathrooms and also an additional outdoor shower. Huge comfortable bed and bedroom area. Large living room with kitchenette. View of the Aegean from the bed. Huge patio and private pool. Yes!!

Beyond the beautiful facilities and amazing view, it’s really the people who run the place and care for the guests that make Pino so special. We can give so many examples but one is that I have dietary restrictions and the team went out of their way to find me lactose free yogurt, pears, and non dairy cheese. Amazing. The breakfast was delicious with the bread and juice and jam. The local pies, amazing. When we got hit with Covid on our 3rd day, instead of being shunned, the Pino team cared for us in a way that was beyond what we could have hoped for. They made sure to follow protocol to ensure the safety and respect of other guests. But they still managed to make us feel special and like we were on vacation and not make us feel bad about the bad luck we had. We were in isolation but yet still felt special. They took what could have been a prison sentence and made it into an amazing experience that we look back on fondly.

A word about Kini. This is the town and the beach that is a 5 minute walk away, albeit, down a pretty steep slope. It is very far from the trendy tourist trappings, the thumping music of Mykonos. It’s quiet and peaceful. There’s only six or seven restaurants on Kini beach, but they were for sure the best meals we had during our entire trip, including Mykonos. The local wine. Amazing. 

If you’re looking to go dancing, then don’t come here. If you’re looking to have a glass of wine and look out over the Aegean sunset with friendly cats by your side, then come here. Immediately. Kini generally is a perfect place. Within Kini? There is no better place than Pino di Loto.

We are forever grateful to Terezdina, the goddess, and her team. We will come back one day!!!

Our third time at Pino di Loto 😁 which probably speaks for itself! Terezdina and her team are incredibly warm, welcoming and look after your every need. The pool and views are beautiful, the rooms are clean, luxurious and full of little personal touches and the breakfast/snacks are local, fresh and delicious. As all the other reviewers say, it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind; no wonder it has previously won boutique B&B of the year and a THaward. Can’t recommend enough; we look forward to coming back next year and becoming true PinodiLoters 😄

We booked to stay here for our honeymoon and will never forget what an incredible time we had. We couldn’t have been welcomed more warmly or made to feel more at home by our hosts. Our stay was made even more special by a very generous room upgrade to celebrate our honeymoon, with gorgeous decorations, we were really spoilt and so grateful! The room was spotlessly clean, extremely private, so spacious indoors and outdoors on the terrace, with a private pool. The views were sensational. Nothing was too much to ask from our hosts. It was such a memorable to stay, you must stay here if you’re on Syros, if you’re lucky enough!

Beautiful place with wonderful people. Pino di loto is the best place if you want to enjoy the sunset. 

The apartments are unique. Big, sunny and comfortable. You can lie down in every corner and calm. No noises. You can only hear the sound of the sea. 

Terezdina and her team are the best hosts. You can learn from them everything about Syros. The products, the daylife, the places to be.

This place is unbelievable.  I was going to give it one star so that no one would come. It is just perfect.

I mean really really  perfect.  I have been throughout the Cyclades and beyond and this is so good i know we will be back.  My family will be back. My friends will be back. 

I want to live longer just so I can come back. I want to go back in time so that I can come back more.

Staying at Pino di Loto was one of our best experiences in Greece. Without any doubt their team makes you feel a unique and local experience- you can totally tell there is lot of love and effort behind every detail. Their views, food, vibes and location couldnt get any better. A please to go back over and over again.
