The location is just perfect. Close to everything. We walked everywhere. It’s a 5 minutes walked from Fira and the main streets. The room was also spacious and very clean. We had someone cleaning our room everyday. I’m definitely coming back!

Gaby Rooms is a wonderful low cost place where you can enjoy a neat, clean and well-equipped room at a low rate for Santorini. It's an excellent quality/price option located in a fantastic town called Firostefani. I find this little town is a gem as it's quiet, elegant and calm and it's in an strategic location between Fira (15min walk) and the other towns in the North (Imerovigli 10min walk and Oia aprox 20min by bus). 
Gaby Rooms is a house with various rooms and no reception. The reception is actually  at 2min walk where the owner has another hotel right on the caldera view. It's actually beautiful to go over there to meet the owner, Katerina, as you will be mesmerised by the views from where the this other hotel is. Katerina is a kind and lovely lady that will be happy to give you advice about the island and will gladly help you with any taxi arrangements if necessary.
The room where I stayed for two nights was spacious, clean and well-kept. I also had a small balcony and and in-suite bathroom. The a/c worked perfectly fine and the cleaning service was impeccable. The only downside I could find is the fact that the shower had no curtains on it - however, this is very common in Greece so let's say that whenever you get a place with a curtain or a door in the shower, you are extremely lucky.
From Gaby Rooms you can walk for literally 1 minute and you'll be on the caldera view area and also to the restaurant/bar/shop zone.You also have the bus stop at the same distance where you can take the bus to Oia. If you need to go to the port, it's best to take a taxi that will cost you aprox 30eur (if summer time).
I thoroughly recommend Gaby Rooms as the best quality/price place with a wonderful location and a fantastic service.

The rooms were spotless from beginning to the end. The security for the rooms is very good, but the only thing good for these rooms is to sleep in, nothing more. That being said the price was perfect for the accommodation and the lady that runs these places (Gaby Rooms/Apartments) is very nice and very helpful. If I ever come back to Santorini on the same budget, I’m coming back to Gaby Rooms!!!

Can't dream a better place on a low cost base

Perfect location

A decent place to sleep. Very small rooms and fairly comfy bed. 

Lower rating because of service: Receptionist was not overly helpful with suggestions on where to go/what to do. It was more of a place to put your stuff and sleep at night.
 
A great location near the famous three bells of fira church, on the wall of Fira.

Very close to a local bus route coming from Oia (About 50m from hotel). 

Decent place for Sleeping Only

We don't normally leave reviews but feel you must know exactly the style of accommodation you are purchasing. Room in old converted house, very small with doors and cupboards that don't shut. Terrible wifi. Be warned you need to call the sister company to get into your room. There is no reception here, you must contact another hotel to gain access to your room. very basic

Average room, great location

We were very disapointed with our stay at Gaby’s rooms. The place is ok and clean, but the small details aren’t there to make us feel comfortable (uncomfortable bed, no place to hang wet clothes or towels, noisy). We were awakened twice by room cleanup (no sign « do not disturb » available). This was the most disappointing place we stayed at during our 3 week trip in Greece.
