I didn't really want to leave this review because Villa Christina and Villa Kyma feel like our own little, special secret. We have stayed in both villas on several occasions and there are no words to explain how special they are to us.  Nothing is too much for Christina and her family and they will help in any way they can. 

We have travelled with four generations of the family and all ( from babies  and "teens" to great grandmothers) have had the most magical time. The villas are so private with such beautiful views, but getting to the beach only takes five minutes on foot. Admittedly a little longer, getting back up, but even then, it's only a ten minute walk. We decided not to bother with car hire and the taxis and shopping deliveries never let us down. Water sports, amazing tavernas and boat hire are all within walking distance.

The internet is fantastic, which was essential for the "teens" and all the furnishings and the whole "feel" of each villa is relaxed, welcoming and very comfortable. Both villas have a real feeling of space, so we could all find moments of peace and quiet. The outside spaces and pools are wonderful, nestled in the privacy of the olive groves. The lovely cleaning staff are brilliant.

We have stayed in many villas, from budget to luxury, and have tried to work out why this is so special. Obviously, the location is breathtaking, but we have come to realise that the personal touch, the fact that this is a family business, makes all the difference to the level of care that you get. Five stars all the way!!!!

We wouldn't go anywhere else

This is a a beautiful villa. Very well designed as built into the hill side and so there are sea views on all sides. It is spacious inside and out. There is ample seating areas on the terraces, with the main terrace stretching across the whole of the villa This is all on the first floor and the views are stunningly beautiful. On the lower level are 3 of the bedrooms and a spacious outside area with sun loungers and umbrellas and the amazing infinity pool.We could not fault it. A nice touch to provide towels for the pool and the beach, and also hair dryers. The only downside for me was I booked this in 2019 and since have developed knee problems. It is seriously steep and I had difficulty in getting down to the beach and Yannis Taverna. We ate there all but one night as the food was so good and he offered to pick me up in his 4 wheel drive and pick me up and take me back each time. The rest of the party climbed in the back. We hired a boat for 2 days to explore the area. I emailed Aphrodites super market from the Uk and arranged a pick up with them for the day we arrived and then emailed the day before to top up supplies which they delivered and took upstairs for us. Christina at Kaminaki villas has been good to deal with and carried the booking over to this year as our flights were cancelled twice because of Covid. I highly recommend the villa and the company and Yannis Taverna. I just wish I was still there!!

Villa Kyma  Stunning

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location. We have been to Kamanaki many times and every time it is fabulous. The owner Christina is very helpful if you need anything. We will be back next year all being well.

Kaminaki is an idyllic hidden gem of a bay on Corfu's mostly unspoilt north-eastern coast and Bijoux is the perfect place from which to enjoy it. It quite literally has "the best seat in the house" as it is positioned in one corner of the little horseshoe and is possibly the most beautiful terrace I have ever had the pleasure of spending time on. The studio itself is, as its name suggests, small, but it has nevertheless been so beautifully designed inside that it never feels anything other than luxurious and, to be honest, the terrace is where you want to be; reading a book, laying on one of the gorgeous sun loungers or lunching under the awning, drinking cold, white Greek wine from the fridge whilst enjoying freshly made aubergine salad and sheep's cheese from Aphrodite's supermarket just up the (very steep) road. A week spent here is a week well spent, reading books, gazing out over the turquoise water's and trekking the long 100 yards to Spiro's taverna at the other end of the bay. Christina (who's family have owned the beautiful, yellow beach-side houses for generations, will go out of her way to make you comfortable, but she has very little to do as everything you could possibly want is right there before you.

A Bijoux heaven

Great one bedroom villa in a great location. We had a really relaxing week. When it wasn't sunny, there was lots of coastal walks to some beautiful bays - I would definitely recommend going to Agni beach/bay which is about 20 min walk from the cottage - the restaurants there also have water taxis that will pick you up. 

Wonderful

What a fabulous week we have had staying in yellow villa at Kaminaki Bay, the accommodation is excellent, very comfortable extremely well equipped superbly positioned right on the beach. We will certainly return as soon as possible.

This is the Shirley Valentine spot ! a small cove with crystal clear water ,a taverna on the beach and yellow house lower as close to the water as is possible. .Christina ,whose house this is was a delight to deal with ,nothing was too much trouble and she was so generous to us from the comprehensive welcome pack to allowing us to stay on much later and ordering taxi's . The house was very nicely decorated and had absolutely everything one could possibly want on holiday . Nothing compares to swimming all alone in the sea first thing in the morning...then it fills up with a few deck chairs in the day which are all cleared away again at 5ish and you have your own private beach back again ! Spiros taverna on the beach is simple and perfect..we were even kissed goodbye upon leaving and there are plenty more a short walk or boat ride away . Such a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be coming back , you can't beat perfection.

Perfection

If you are looking for some peace and quiet then Yellow House Upper is perfection. Unbeatable location (although we would recommend hiring a car in order to explore local restaurants in the evening). We loved being able to roll out of bed and onto the beach and then back again to make some lunch. Hiring a boat is a great way to the see the island if you fancy a day out. Christina is an excellent host and the house was very well equipped for all of our needs.  We would love to come back!
