Kos Aktis Art Hotel

The first time we went to the beautiful island of Kos we stayed at a different hotel but saw another couple dropped off here and thought the location was spot on, very central..so we booked again and had 10 nights here. We loved it so much we booked again for 14 nights (and have booked again for next year!) The hotel is right on the sea with all rooms having private sea facing balconies. The breakfasts are a very high quality and offer a wide choice of food. and there was always seats available at breakfast. Whilst there's no pool you can use the facilities at the sister hotel but you have the greatest pool to swim in.... the sea!!! We loved sitting on the balcony watching the yachts and katamarans that were moored up outside with the twinkling lights of Turkey (Bodrum) across the water. The staff are amazing and we would like to thank them all, especially the lady on the reception who remembered us and gave us a very warm welcome and the lady who cleaned our room who always greeted us with a beautiful 'Kalimera', It was so great to be reunited with our Greek friends (both human and furry!) Kos has rapidly become our favourite destination. The people are incredibly warm, kind, generous and hospitable and always want to feed you up, give you ouzo and raki and talk to you. After seeing all the people who visit the island throughout the season, it was very special to be remembered and treated like old friends. If I could give this hotel ten out of five I would.
