If I could rate it 100/10 I would. 
The rooms were very clean, tidy and spacious. Every morning Vasiliki or her husband Lavros would ask if we wanted coffee and ask if we wanted to sit with them. The hospitality that they showed us was overwhelming and made me emotional on a couple of occasions. 
They have so much energy and nothing is a bother. 
If you have been there when it was Mamas Pension and you enjoyed the exceptional hospitality from them, you will not be disappointed. 
This is the real Mykonian spirit, the traditional Greek that most of us travellers are longing for. If thats what you are after, I know you will love the room but most importantly love the hosts. Can’t wait to go back. Thank you Vasiliki, Lavros and Gregory. You are all amazing people.

Zisis Pension is truly one of the best accommodations on the island of Mykonos.  Recently renovated, comfortable and spacious rooms, amazing view. The relationship between price, quality and benefits was amazing.    The location, in the area of ​​Agios Stefanos, is very convenient as it is very close to Chora. It is only 4 minutes from the outdoor parking area in the old port of Mykonos. In front of the accommodation there is always comfortable parking on the public road free of charge.   The owners Lambros and Vasiliki, as well as Grigoris at the reception were kind and helpful in whatever we needed.  I recommend this accommodation for a truly luxurious Mykonian hospitality.

Our stay at mama's pension was everything the previous positive reviews said it would be. Treated like family. The hosts' welcome and care during our stay was amazing. If you're looking for fantastic accommodations a short walk to the beach and restaurants, then this is for you. 

When people write in the recommendation that this place feels like home - it is true. Family run business with a very helpful, welcoming and friendly atmosphere. When I arrived in Mykonos port I was picked up by the son in law of mama and was greeted by three little and very calm dogs at the pension. My room was equipped with everything I needed and what was being listed in my reservation. 

I do hope mama will put up the prices a tiny bit in order to buy a new fridge for the room because it was very noisy (and old) and it was hard to sleep from the noise, though I managed to do so with ear plugs.

All the staff is easy to speak with and there's a very relaxed atmosphere. A not-crowded beach is only five minutes away down a flight of stairs. If I ever go back to Mykonos I will definitely stay at Mama's Pension again. 

Staff - 10/10 the best, extremely helpful and genuinely interested in making our stay the best it can be. 3 beautiful dogs roam reception and warm you with cuddles and kisses 

Facilities - 9/10, we had one of the smaller rooms available on site but it was cozy and beautiful, clean and open, decorated with minimalistic elegance with sufficient space for everything we needed. Washing our cutlery in the bathroom was a bit odd but it worked. 

Value for money- 10/10, for a rip off of an island this place is a diamond in the rough. Located upon the hill above the new port (10 minute walk and easily accessible from Mykonos old town via sea bus). Mamas Pension is the perfect destination to escape the cursed scam land of Mykonos town. Great views close by with sun setting peacefully at the lighthouse in the north (only 15 minutes by quad bike), a calm relaxing Sandy beach at their doorstep and an abundance of useful island knowledge from the delightful hosts.
