Our room was on the ground floor and had everything you would want. The breakfast was great. Rolls, cheese, cold meats, soft boiled egg and coffee or tea. There is a good restaurant at the bottom of the hill or just go for a walk and you will find a good one. There was a band concert at a neighboring town so we went to that one evening. We also visited w/friends of ours in Rosenheim (about 1 hour). My wife is German so we didn't have a problem with the language. Overall very relaxing. This trip was in 2014
