Only 15 Minutes from Dusseldorf Airport and totally at country side. Very nice old renovated buildings. Easy to do jogging on the fields and restaurant Pferdestall is only 20 meters away. Peacefull, great breakfast and one bear in the evening.

My husband and I and our  17 month old tMyoddler stayed at Gastehaus Munks for 5 nights and we had the best experience! The rooms are very spacious and have everything you need. Bernhard was very accommodating and made sure everyone was comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The hot coffee, juices, cold cuts, bread, eggs, etc was more than enough to get our day started! I'd highly recommend this place and stay here again!

I had a last minute trip to visit the Boat Show in Dusseldorf and managed to find accommodation in this hotel/B&B.
My flight was reschedule several times by BA and Bernhard (the owner) hold my booking until I arrived.
The room was huge as well as the bathroom. The floor is heated so I felt no cold while I was there. Breakfast was good, nothing out of the normal and the wifi was ok. There is very good wifi service in the reception area but in the room was very poor. I think this might be something to think about improving.

Bernhard was very friendly and helpful and I will definitely stay there in my next trips.

Late decision making and go find a hotel for the exhibition in cologne....
And then booking.com offers this place.
We arrived late. The key was waiting with instructions how to find out room.
Very simple but very very clean.
Shower is tight but otherwise the room size was ok for a single room.
Nice breakfast served 7-10.
And only 12 minutes from dusseldorf airport.

A lovely well maintained ultra convenient small hotel near Dusseldorf.  Just off the motorway, close to the airport and a short tram ride from the centre of Dusseldorf.  It is quiet, clean, well priced and easy to find.  A great breakfast awaits each morning too.  Could not recommend it more highly.
