Pier was a wonderful host, going out of his way to make the stay special. It was my mother in laws 80th birthday celebratiobs & Pier went out of his way to make it special for her,  providing a huge bunch of white tulips & a bottle of sparking wine, all complementary for her in the delux apartment. Our group of 6 took that one plus 2 other apartments for 3 nights & we couldn't have been happier. They were v warm & cozy, &  well equipped,  even included a coffee maker!  Each has a different theme & is beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail . The location is great - felt like a safe, hip area with lots of cafes & restaurants close by, 15 mins walk to the cathederal & old town,  close to lots of shops & easy walking to lots of Cologne xmas markets, including one virtually outside the door; an added bonus was a long hours supermkt across the road  Train & tram & buses are 5 mins walk. Pier is full of helpful tips & advice & has lots of info in the apartments. And tjey were great value for money. The apartments do vary though so best to ask Pier for advice on which to book. If you are happy to pay a little extra the delux one is excellent. Highly recomend these apartments.
