Overall, a really nice hotel which will suit your needs. Let's face it; you won't be in your room all day as there is something for everyone to do in Berlin. Wifi wasn't an issue for me. I'm not one to be glued to my phone or tablet 24/7 unlike most people but there is a paid option for faster speeds. The room was immaculate and couldn't hear anything and temperature in the room was fine despite the -10oC outside and the bed extremely comfortable. I took breakfast both mornings. First morning I tried the meat and pastry selections which was nice but the second morning (with a stinking hangover) could only muster cereal so the €10 extra was a bit of a waste on my behalf and would probably contemplate other options when I return in September. Location as well is a 5-10min walk from Alexanderplatz station via the S9 from Schönefeld. There's also a tram stop outside the hotel which I didn't use as I decided to walk to Brandenburg Gate (3km away). I never ate in the bar but it seemed reasonably priced and a large Berliner pilsner €4.60. Thanks for a lovely weekend!
