72 reviewsI chose this place, based on several reviews here and I must say that I am happy with my choice. I followed the advise with regard to the difficult location of the hotel and how hard it was to find it. I was pleasantly surprised when on the day of my check in, I received a text message on my mobile, providing me with specific directions, which helped me put the right GPS address in my car. The hotel itself is situated in the middle a small village, just ten minutes driving from Etretat and away from the noisy tourist crowds. It is quite picturesque and actually far from being touristic! Clean, with nice colors, friendly management and very good breakfast, this is a place which is not a good value for money, but excellent value for money ! The owner of the hotel is a very friendly lady who even helped me organize a small present for my fiance who had a birthday on Sunday morning. Due to our late arrival on Saturday, there was no way for me to buy a small birthday cake, but after asking the owner to help me, she not only bought a birthday cake for breakfast, but also surprised my fiancee with candles and a happy birthday song. We are already planning a return (this time with some friends) to Etretat and there is no doubt that if there are vacancies, I would choose again this place ! p.s. the only thing to improve is the small uphill just before the hotel. The quality of the road there is awful and if your car is with a low chassis you might have a problem. I do hope that they would fix this.
