We stayed at this hotel as a family of three in December 2024. The hotel had everything we needed. We were supplied with our winter overalls and boots, which was quick and plenty to choose from. They had a breakfast buffet which was standard, but fine if that's your kind of thing. What really made this hotel much better than we expected however, was its location and other amenities. It was located in beautiful snowcapped surroundings with wide open lakes and forests. The days trips which were excellent where also only a short drive. The hotel provided lots of sleds and it had many hills immediately outside the front doors to slide down for kids and adults alike. The hotel had a shop with the likes of pastries, coffee, sandwiches and the usual sweets, treats and essentials. It also had a restaurant and bar on site. The food was good and the options catered very much to kids (Burgers, chips etc). They had an Angry Birds indoor park for when kids had had enough of the cold and dark. But most importantly, it had a wonderful swimming pool area. It really made a difference being able to have that relaxing space after long days. If we ever go back to Kuusamo, we would absolutely book this hotel again.
