Garden Hotel

The hotel is clean and very well run. Very nicely decorated inside. A little back from the lakefront on lake Ohrid and a short walk to the city centre. The restaurant has delicious food and great presentation. A must stay if visiting beautiful Ohrid in Macedonia.

We spent tree weeks in this hotel , which have an educated, English-speaking staff , experienced and attentive owners , great cuisine and great wines ,and one of the best fish soup in town.
Located on the cliff of the lake, close to the city, with its own parking, offering multiple possibilities of travel to the important objectives nearby.
We recommend this hotel with all the pleasure.

If you are visiting Ohrid, doesn't matter where you stay, this hotel's restaurant is a must visit place because of the veal broth they have there. It is served with kind of breadsticks and two types of butters. It is mainly breakfast dish but you can get it fresh and hot even at midday.

Quite nice place in centre (almost) near lake Ohrid across garden with requsits for activities - to take a coffe or lunch - That is place were i was and recomend for every toirist. Couchine was extra Chorba expecuually.

Great hotel with the best restaurant in Ohrid. Views of lake Ohrid, clean rooms, very friendly staff. On the lakefront but a few minutes walk along the boardwalk to the old city centre. Close enough for a short, pleasant walk and far enough not to hear the loud restaurants and shops when you want to sleep.

If you are looking for a clean and updated hotel with a pleasant and professional staff this is a good choice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a little on the small side however  it was also very clean and had all the essentials. Free Wii,and breakfast was included and had a lot of food options. The espresso/cappchino/coffee bar was excellent!! The location was nice, the hotel is at the end of the strip on the water side, we enjoyed walking back from the center along the water. Parking was right out front. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel in Ohrid, close to the lake and at walkable distance to the Old Town. There is free parking in the front of the hotel. It is located in a quiet area, with a nice park in front. The breakfast was OK but it started later than advertised.

Not too far to walk to the old town but far enough not to be troubled by the noise.The rooms are clean and comfortable although the bathroom is rather small.
We had a good lunch but the service was very slow considering that the restaurant was not crowded.

Hotel Garden has very good location. Half of the rooms have a view towards lake and it's in quiet neighborhood. Rooms are pretty much diverse regarding their quality and especially space. Bed was very comfortable. The room on the top 4th floor that I slept in has the smallest bathroom that I have ever been in any hotel. I am bigger than average and it was almost impossible  to take a shower. I saw some ants in the room. Some of rooms needs renovation. Breakfast is very good. Ladies at reception did their job more than very good. They were very kind, polite and charming. All in all, my rating would be between 3 and 4.

Hotel Garden is ideally situated on the main boulevard that runs along the lake in Ohrid. Our room looked out onto the lake through a green reservation planted with trees. Cross over to the pathway and take a leisurely walk beside the lake into the centre of town.

The rooms are well appointed, pleasant, and very quiet, even when the night life is pulsing. A spacious terrace restaurant has been added downstairs, ideal for a leisurely dinner in the balmy nights of the Macedonian summer.

The staff are very hospitable, and altogether, Hotel Garden is a very good base for exploring Ohrid.
