It’s a fantastic hotel .. good stuff.. organic food.. nice views inside hotel.. happy to go white dessert,  hot water, relaxing on pool, hotel a badawy style, swimming, dancing ,    The service is fantastic , party manged by clever mangers , taking photos,  riding camels, really I’m very excited

The hotel is located in the small oasis of Farafra, in the most beautiful White Desert. It's a very peaceful place to stay for trips into the desert. Also to just enjoy the pool and the welcoming and personal atmosphere. Something far away from the big cities' stress. Will come again.

Very friendly and hospitable staff. I arrived late at night and they made sure i was set in my room in record time. The rooms were  Clean and comfortable.  The design of the inn itself and the use of old building materials makes this a unique place.      A true desert inn .  It is not hard to imagine camel  caravans going  through in  old times .   All the utilities that you would expect from modern hotel .

hotel built from local stones, help locals to find jobs - nice people, it is such a rose in the desert, swimming pool is lovely. rooms are nice and lots of space, the restaurant is very good and vault ceiling - evening local music and tea on camp fire were great 

Badawiya Hotel is absolutely amazing. The complex has traditional domed rooms and suites featuring simple but elegant accommodation with private bathrooms. The best spot in the complex is the swimming pool with azure  pristine water. The garden is also very beautifully lit at night and it's a true pleasure to dine there. You can easily walk to the city center. After staying here, you will miss this place forever. It is the traditional style of the oasis and very authentic.

To find such a place in the middle of the desert is something amazing 
The rooms are big and nice,there is a pool,and the people there are so nice,they can arrange anything for you in the hotel or out at the desert 
You don't have to be well prepared All you need to take is  your camera and some money and they will do  everything for you
I advise to go there at winter

What a beautiful place

The staff at the hotel is so helpful and they are smiling all the time, for me this is something I really appreciate. As I was traveling to the desert I wasn’t expecting a luxury hotel and a luxury service, but being an hotelier I can’t say that it was a good stay in terms of the quality of food, the cleanliness and the quality of service.
The bed wasn’t clean, the pillow cover had so many stains, I tried to contact the reception to get it changed but it seemed very complicated to handle it late at night so, I had to cover the bed with my towel.

The room was specious and I loved it’s designed, it’s completely different than any other room I stayed in, although it wasn’t comfortable but for me it was ok.

I don’t want to talk about the food, all what I can say that it was eatable, or most of it was eatable; don’t put over expectations on the food that you are going to eat.

Me and my friends had to clean the swimming pool by ourselves, because it was full of tree leaves and dead insects, but the weather was a little bit windy so it might be the reason.
However, my trip to the Farafra Oasis was amazing; the desert is like a dream, I really enjoyed and I will repeat it again, Badawya is the best resort if we will compare it with the others there.

Average but this is the maximum that you can get in Farafra.

bad accommodation

Was compelled to stay in this so called 3 star rated hotel for 8 nights, while on work to this remote town. My colleague n I stayed in a suite (spacious though) with a sitting room n bedroom. The room was equipped with just a 1/2 ton capacity air con unit which just does not do the job n one always feels warm inside. We changed 3 rooms in this 8 days 1) air con temp not going below 26 c 2) shower head n pipe had so many holes water was spraying to the roof n wall but not on us standing under shower. 3) a better room in comparison...   

House Keeping is very poor n the room is always dusty, Insects all around, mosquito, stained and torn towels n bed linen, rock hard n shapeless pillow, very dim lights n many more.

No breakfast was available and all we could get was black coffee/tea as the lone restaurant did not have milk in stock through the 8 days.

It is a shame for a 3 Star rating and it should be downgraded to -3 star or lower.
