Carlton Hotel Guldsmeden

I had a great long weekend stay at 66 Guldsmeden and found it a good base to explore Copenhagen from. The location is in a buzzy neighborhood packed with places to eat and drink, and walkable to a lot of other things to see and do around the city. You do get a bit of street noise, especially on a weekend, but that's to be expected given its location. I found the room super cozy and comfy, with the "small" sized rooms plenty of space for one person (and maybe even two, if you don't have large suitcases). The scents, heated bathroom floors, and other small details all around the property also add to the experience, making me a newly converted fan of this boutique brand more generally! The only potential downsides are the busy street location — which makes it a little tricky to get in or out of taxis/Ubers, if you have a decent amount of luggage — and it's on bus lines vs. the metro, so more limited transit options depending on how you prefer to move about the city.
