Anais Bay Hotel

I had forgotten to write a review of the Anais Bay after our weeks escape in July 2024 but I guess better late than never. We went to Cyprus for the first time as a couple in July 2024. We based our decision to stay at the Anais Bay based purely on cost and reviews which seemed to indicate it was a decent place to stay. Gladly I can report it was an excellent base for our first trip to the island. The rooms were clean and with air conditioning very comfortable for a nights sleep. The other guests seemed to be a mix of older couples and families which suited us down to the ground as the last thing we wanted was drunken youths spoiling our time away. Other than breakfast we never ate at the hotel as there was more than enough restaurants to try out both in Pernera and in Protaras. Breakfast was basic but more than adequate and it certainly gave us a good start to the day. The location in Pernera was perfect with it being only a minute from the beach and a couple of minutes to the main shops and restaurants at the top of the road. We hired a car from Steven's Car hire (Highly recommended) so it was only a 5 minute drive into Protaras main strip and 10 minutes into Aya Napa if that is your thing. For us it was more for checking out the island which was corgeous. We are now thinking of going back to the Anais in the summer of 2026 which is something which we dont often do when going on holidays so that was how happy we were with the hotel.
