I stayed at Cacao Monkey with my wife and our three your old daughter in early April. It is a great little place, with good service and all the basics plus breakfast! It is not a 5 star hotel and does not profess to be, the name actually includes ‘rustic lodge’ but it is clean, tidy, has awesome customer service and you get a great breakfast everyday. The surroundings are beautiful, you are literally surrounded by forest, lots of wild life and it is very quiet and peaceful, all of that and it is about a 5-10 minute walk from town. Wifi is available in the common area and is pretty good, we were able to stream videos no problems. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. The room was cleaned very well everyday. They also allow use of their restaurant kitchen, so we were able to cook our own meals each night. Finally it is safe and secure and there is a night manager onsite. Considering the price you definitely get more than what you pay for, it is great value for money. Awesome!
