Nacientes Lodge

We stopped here to rest for the night before heading to Volcan Tenorio National Park and Rio Celeste. Eulises (the owner) treated us very courteously and was very helpful. The cabin rooms, beds and bathrooms were spotlessly clean, smelled fresh and were very comfortable. The screened windows allowed us to enjoy the sounds and smells of the rain falling in the forest around, while enjoying the cool breezes coming in all night, while keeping the bugs out. The next morning Eulises and his lovely wife cooked and fed us an awesome complete breakfast of eggs, coffee, juice and fruit that really made the difference at the beautiful but somewhat rigorous Rio Celeste trail hiking. We'll for sure come back to Nacientes the next time we come by the area.
