29 reviewsMarcella was amazing. She looked after us when we were sick by bringing us some tea and checking in. The room was comfortable and clean with a fan. The bathroom clean and cleaned daily. Good wifi and nice shared lounge/kitchen area. Right by the bus station this hostel was in a good location too. Other things for SPdA :) We recommend Whipala expeditions for tours in and around SPdA. We went with a few companies and Whipala were heads and shoulders above the rest. Particularly recommend the Cejar lake tour. If crossing to Uyuni and not sure if you want to do the 3 day crossing. We took the 10.45 Cruz del Norte bus for a comfortable 9 hour crossing to Uyuni and then did the salt flat day tour from there. This had three main benefits, less altitude, longer at the salt flats, considerably cheaper. The oriental empanada at emporio andino is one of the best empanadas we've had in a year travelling.
