Had a great time,, the family all loved it,, Beautiful apartment very large, had everything we needed,, have stayed a few times now,loved going out after dark and seeing the animals and hearing the wolfs at night , 

If you are looking for a charming, quaint, eclectic, comfortable, relaxing, mini getaway, the B&B at Jungle Cat World is perfect.  Very cool, large apartment with jungle theme.  Fresh eggs (from their chickens), bread, cheese, yogurt, milk, jam, panckake mix, and wine are included.  After hours access to the park makes this a great adventure. I walked through the park early in the morning and was able to view all the animals up close and personal.  They also have a pet cemetery, behind the scenes tour and a zoo camp for kids.  We were even invited to join a group of girls guides for their evening education program and night park tour.  If you are looking for a Holiday Inn, don't come here, this place has far more character!    Lots of personal touches and history. 

We recently celebrated a birthday with family at the lodge. What a treat and what a great time we had. Despite seeing some pictures, it was more than we expected. The room's were huge and the entire place is decorated in a jungle theme including the dishes and towels! Do it yourself breakfast was included in the fridge. There were free range eggs, bread, cheese, cereals, milk, juice etc. All you could need...including a keurig coffee machine, a bottle of beer and a bottle of wine. there were also National Geographic magazines, animal movies and games, stuffies for the kids and as a special treat, we got to go back into the zoo after dark.

We had too much fun in the safari lodge- it was huge, clean and we were provided with food and drinks and the suite had books, games and movies. We had after hours access to the zoo which was my favourite part of the trip. We also did the behind the scenes tour and met lion cubs, Ed the Hyena and lemurs.

My fiance and I stayed in the Safari Lodge at Jungle Cat World last weekend. We were amazed at the size of the room and the add ons that came with it. They left us eggs, bacon, juices, pancake mix, coffee, tea, cereal, milk, cream, wine, 2 bottles of beer and more. The room was gorgeous. More like an apartment. And the decor was really amazing making me feel like I really was in Africa. After hours when the park closed we had to option of going out to visit the animals at any time we wished. We went out at around midnight and could see and hear the wolves howling. What an incredible experience. The next morning after breakfast we did the Behind the Scenes tour and spent time with a striped hyena, a lemur and Contessa, the baby tiger. It was an experience neither of us will ever forget. The staff was amazing, very friendly and very knowledgeable. I would love to go back soon.

We stayed one night at the Safari Lodge bed and breakfast. The room fee includes your zoo admission for the entire time you are there. Of note, there are two rooms (the Safari lodge and the Lion's den - we stayed in the Safari Lodge). The room is basically a good sized apartment with a full kitchen and a balcony overlooking the zoo. I've reviewed the zoo and behind the scenes animal encounter separately under the zoo. I recommend this room so you can eat out on the balcony in the evening and hear the animals or watch the ducks on the pond. The room is a bit on the pricey side but the decor is very fun and you do get access to the zoo after hours which is a really unique experience. The room rate also gets you 20% off the behind the scenes encounter which I highly recommend. The mattress was very firm.
