The Maple Leaf Motel Inn Towne

STAY HERE. If I could, I would give it 10/5 stars. (Long but worth the read). I was stranded alone with a dead car in Oliver, BC. (Right by Osoyoos in the middle of beautiful wine country) - but I was stuck 5 hrs from where I needed to go and 4 hours from home. I was recommended this motel and I am eternally grateful! The Owner is extremely kind, accommodating and really goes above and beyond. He recommended a very helpful towing/mechanic shop (Jill’s Towing) for my dead car and answered any questions I had. The rooms are newly done, spacious and clean, with a completely separate larger bathroom. Nicely decorated with dark wood floors and a big comfy bed with fresh, soft bedding and flat screen TV. Has good working A/C ! As well as a tall extra fan in closet. Full sized fridge w freezer and kitchen you can totally cook in w/ toaster oven & regular toaster, hot plates, microwave, counter space, kettle/coffee maker w/emerald cream ;) and full sink. Small garden area outside with a nice gazebo to sit in that’s has a BBQ to use! They are right by lots of grocery stores, cafès, restaurants, mini marts and of course tons of beautiful wineries and fresh fruit stands! Always great deals on the rooms happening, especially during the week! 100% recommend. I’d say even if you are going to Osoyoos, stay here and save $$ - the drive between Oliver and Osoyoos is 10-15 mins through the most gorgeous vineyards and orchards. Also a great stopping point when travelling between the Coast, the Okanagan or the Kootenays! Felt very safe staying here and very grateful for all their help! 😊 Thanks again!!
