Paris House Circa 1899

The Paris Guest House was a perfect place for us during our stay in Niagara on the Lake. The location was directly behind the Courthouse building on the main street of town, making it easy to walk to theaters, restaurants, shops, etc. There are two free parking spaces on one side of the building, but she allowed parking in the driveway if the two were taken. The house has three guestrooms, a lovely common room with coffee, tea, granola bars and fruit, and two sun rooms with a large, shared refrigerator in one. The room was large, recently painted, and well decorated with items reminiscent of a B&B in Paris. It was very clean, comfortable, and towels can be changed every day if you wish. Note that this is only a guesthouse and breakfast is not provided. However, there are many great bakeries and restaurants serving breakfast nearby. The only strange thing, which has been noted in other reviews, is that we did not see our hostess, except when the fire alarm went off due to a bit of smoke in her kitchen. It would have been nice to have had a chance to meet her during our stay. It is a great value for the expensive town, and we will happily return in the future.
