I wanted a cheap hotel to go see my relatives on New Year's Day and my choice stopped at the Econo Lodge in Laval. I arrived in the evening and the receptionist's smiling welcome was quite adequate. For the rest, it smelled like a cigarette in the hotel, I saw a dog (hello allergies), the room was of a basic comfort let's say, the walls are cardboard, the mattress is very hard and the breakfast will not go down in history.

For the economy only

Room was good and breakfast was limited but filling.  However, I want to praise Marie on the reception desk as she certainly went out of her way to be helpful.  I had some problems with transportation from the hotel to the venue that I wanted to visit in St. Therese and she went over the alternatives with me.  She handled my reservation in not only a professional manner but was friendly as well.  Thank you Marie for all your help.  I really appreciated it.

Exeptional customer service

On arrival the Hotel has a glass front entry that had never been cleaned and a pane on the right side that was cracked. There was no one at the front desk. We looked for 15 minutes before we found the clerk to check us in. Breakfast in the AM had no coffee and watered down juice, No fruit and bread was limited, The next day at 9 AM breakfast was bare of everything and we were told the employee closed early at 9 instead of 10 AM in error. The pool was closed and locked the entire time we were there. Other guests were also complaining. The TV dated back to the large box and fuzzy reception days. I have never written a bad review such as this one before. I just have nothing good to say.

Terrible and below any standard

Clogged sink, rubbish rollaway bed (i was touching the floor when i lied in it and I am only 70kg). If you want an iron, board, pillow or anything, you will have to go to reception and get it yourself. You will also have to setup the rollaway bed yourself.

Bed covers have dust all over them and most probably bugs on them too. I had no choice but to stay here as my reservation was non-refundable.

I suggest you avoid this hotel.

Garbage Hotel - Avoid it

We stayed for two nights at this hotel. The reception was dusty and dirty. The room had an old TV, there was not a microwave nor a coffeemaker in the room. The beds are old and so are the blankets. The hotel needs a fresh coat of paint and the carpets need to be cleaned. The internet never worked for the whole time we were there. Will not come back.

Bad hotel don't good there

The little girl had the idea to upgrade my room because the room I was in smelled like a cigarette so I had a suite, a very basic lunch, good price/quality ratio...

Well, old but clean.

Some rooms are renovated with a modern and fairly large bathroom, while others still have a tiny bathroom (bathroom + toilet) with orange and brown tiles from the 1970s, and the sink outside the bathroom. There are also rooms where you can smoke, which is increasingly rare; if you're a smoker, it might be worth it for you. Wi-Fi is included (no need to pay the same extra!) but it's a little unstable (no more dramatic) and there's a mini-frigo in each room. On the other hand, there's no iron to distract (you have to ask the receptionist).

Three clean rooms and laundry, three good staff service, little dej copieux included,,,,,,, go there with your eyes fixed, for now well on,,, and the affordable price, sun in my room and view of the parking lot, I love

I was at the hotel as part of the Dodge Cup Hockey Tournaments the rooms were very clean I also appreciate the room for this meeting with the parents in the evening to have a little beer thank you to Staff Safa,Lynda and Sylvie

I stay here last week day time stuff too rude and not speak English.both lady work on counter and back office both too rude.room and washroom not proper clean.in picture look everything clean but if u see carefully look true not clean.pool picture show big pool but in realty pool too small.i will not stay here in future.i recommand don't stay here
