My husband and I stayed here 3 nights while visiting Ile D'orléans and Old Québec. Our original hotel reservation with a different hotel was lost and we were on the island at 11pm with nowhere to stay. We called the Auberge and the lovely hostess provided us a room at that late hour. We were served a delicous breakfast each morning (feel free to leave a tip for the excellent breakfast service.) The grounds are beautiful! Our room overlooked the river and had 2 rocking chairs on the porch for us to enjoy. Eric who is bilingual made our final day's breakfast and departure a delight. The owner is primarily French speaking with some English. My husband and I are learning French and she was very patient with and respectful towards us as we tried our best with the language. This is a great place to stay if you speak a little French and want to have some peace and quiet but still be close enough to explore Québec. I definitely recommend!
