The Hostel is owned by an extremely welcoming and helpful couple. The hostel itself is located less than a minute's walk from the main square. They have a good breakfast, with bread, fruits, and juices. The showers also have hot water. The staff also puts out tea, coffee, and sweet bread in the evening for the guests. The rooms are a bit small, but everything else was gret. The owners were more than happy to help us with everything, including finding pharmacies, cheap places to eat, and booking a taxi to Ouro Preto. You can get to hostel in Tiradentes from São João del Rei by bus (45 minutes) , and walk from the Rodovario in Tiradentes to the hostel ( 5 minutes walk). The staff and owners speak Portuguese and a some English.
