Hotel Spa Nau Royal

This is a small boutique hotel that's totally worth the money. It is beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, large, we had a large balcony with a view of the beach and the pool. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The room servicing staff were magically efficient: we never saw them, but every time we left for breakfast or dinner, we'd return to a clean and refreshed room. One thing to note: the staff does not speak English, at all. This is common in Brasil, but I was surprised to experience that at a hotel of this caliber. We got by using Google Translate for all practical matters, but it does take away ones ability to have a spontaneous conversation that can potentially be so rewarding. A special mention goes to the concierge who went out of their way to find us a driver/car that fit our requirements. Oh, almost forgot, the beach! The beach was amazing! Always nearly empty, fine soft sand, warm ocean, not a sharp shell or a stone or a sea weed in sight! It's a public beach that does not belong to the hotel, but I still wanted to mention how wonderful it is! The hotel is pricey, but we did not regret staying there, and would have extended our stay had we not had other commitments.
