Stayed for 5 nights, and performed a musical at Collingrove - what a privilege to stay here. Andrew and Marcia were fantastic hosts, and made amazing breakfasts (home-made marmalade, fresh-picked cherries, and yumalicious local produce). I stayed in two different rooms, with the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Beautifully appointed, with many little touches to make it feel like home. The rich history of this house and one of our state's forefathers is celebrated, but modern conveniences are meshed along with that (including good wi-fi). Wandering the glorious house and gardens is like being transported to another world and another time - so peaceful. Nearby Angaston (6 minutes drive) is a delightful mixture of shops, surrounded by incredible wine country and sweeping scenery.
