Hotel Castle was an okay stop along our travels. The rooms do face east, so we did rise with the sun, given that the window shades were insufficient. The staff is nice. Would recommend a a few more songs on their beach playlist— it’s currently just the five rotating songs.

Just Okay

I was there to apply for job and i got angry people and not respectful.I meet the oner of the hotel  with his wife and his soon(22 years old).People bad educated.A place without costumers and angry people like the wolf.
I asked about if they have costumers and they told me the costumers don't like to go there...they chose the other neighbor restorants.
If you like to have an amazing lunch ore dinner it's good to skip this place.

Not recomanded

We stayed 3 nights at Hotel Castle in August 2021, and we couldn't have been happier with this hotel and its staff. The hotel owns a section of beach just a few yards from the front door (it's across a little road, but less than a minute walk), and hotel guests get free beach chairs and umbrellas. Also just across the road is the hotel's restaurant with panoramic views of the bay and islands. I HIGHLY recommend that you order freshly caught fish out of the ice case in the entrance--the chef grilled the fish we chose to perfection. I'm still dreaming of those meals.

The room was large and spotlessly clean with all of the amenities we wanted: soap, shampoo, towels, etc. Our little deck overlooked the sea, and our room had bunk beds for our teenage daughters as well as a large comfortable bed for my husband and me, plus a dining table and chairs, coat rack, mini fridge...everything! Also included in our room price was a HUGE delicious hot breakfast in the hotel lobby. 

Better than the accommodations, though, was the service. The owners and employees went above and beyond at every turn, even though we didn't speak a word of Albanian (other than hello, please, and thank you). On the night of my birthday, the restaurant wasn't serving dessert, but the waiter told us to wait--they'd whip something up. It turns out that the owners went out to a bakery and bought me a whole cake and gifted it to us, complete with candles. It was so generous of them! Another day, we went to the nearby national park (not to be missed, btw) but weren't sure of how to catch the bus (turns out it's easy, but we were clueless tourists), so the owner's son drove us there and back on his own time and in his own car. 

Hotel Castle made our stay in Ksamil truly special. I wouldn't stay anywhere else, and I give it my highest recommendation.

Incredibly Friendly Service and Wonderful Accomodations

Through Booking.com, I booked 4 days in this hotel for this COVID-fueled summer of 2020. The other establishments in the country refunded me all the fees paid for my vacation because access to the country was simply no longer possible, as well as for those who were not required by the clause. I contact the hotel to ask for the refund, after several exchanges, the management tells me that it will refund me 50% but at the end of August. Of course, I repeatedly contact the hotel, they tell me they have refunded the amount. Without the possibility of appeal, I simply run away from bad people after several requests.

Thieves

It's nice, but it doesn't cost a lot, it's a modest hotel with very modest breakfasts. Although the restaurant is good. The plus is the location and cleanliness. It's a beach, but we didn't even have time to explain on the first day that it's free for the guests of the hotel, and we paid 800 dollars. About the early eviction and the promised transfer, the administrator forgot at all, and it was impossible to log in and reach out - no one opens for the night at the hotel, safety is zero.

The location is good, the beach is good, the service is poor.

Only hotel in Albania to have to pay everything in advance! due to Covid no plane and therefore no travel only hotel that does not refund us even the 75 percent they offered to refund us.

Don't respect anything

It's the only hotel we've booked in Albania that refuses to pay us back because it's closed because of Covid.

Be careful, be busy

Nice hotel, we'll definitely come again. The beach is the hammer and the restaurant is good. I was there with my girlfriend. We also visited the island vis-a-vis. It takes about five minutes by boat!

It's a great hotel.

- During our 2 weeks in the hotel, there was no internet.  We complained several times, but the staff did not do anything.  Every other hotel and restaurant had a stable internet.
-Breakfast was very limited and unhealthy.  There weren't even boiled eggs ... 
- Our refrigerator was dirty and some children's toys were left obviously from the previous guests.
- The electric socket was next to the bed wasn't working.  The air conditioner was working from time to time.  The light above the sink was not working.
-We hoped we would watch TV in our room, since there was - no internet.  It turned out that there were limited channels rack, in which there were only news channels and traditional music channel 
Positives - Cleaning was done everyday.  Private sunbeds on the beach.  - The location of the hotel is quite and chill - Even though we were feeling like living in the 17th century in a "castle", without internet, proper breakfast, tv and air conditioning, we managed to explore Albanian and Greek sightseeing in the area  (from Gjirokastër to Parga and Corfu).

Amazing holiday, terrible hotel.

Usually when customers come back the managers maintain a very caring and attentive attitude, well in this hotel these values do not apply, in fact..... we had booked the apartment on the last floor of the hotel with great anticipation also opting beyond the four days planned from 23 to 27 also 3 more up to 30 also down the possibility of moving into two rooms on the lower floor. The 30 inform us that they do not have the rooms and indirectly invite us to release the one in which we are solemnly because we already rented, shameful behavior that went to add to a series of inefficiencies for which what was supposed to be a pleasant holiday would become a rotten spaceship if we did not organize otherwise.
