The breathtaking view from the terrace is reason alone to book at this lovely family run boutique hotel.  The breakfast was wonderful, lots of delicious food that just kept coming!  All rooms different with lovely furnishings.  Only thing - there was a light immediately outside my room that burned all night

Amazing views from this lovely boutique hotel

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in August. Very kindly, the owner was very available, also advising us what to visit and briefly telling us the story of Berat. The room and bathroom were clean, the latter had a large shower and was complete with everything, phono and towels of various sizes. Breakfast was excellent on a terrace with a breathtaking view, there is no buffet but the owner prepares complete dishes of everything, whether salty or sweet with all the household products. A couple of flaws: the presence of stairs on the street in the carts to get to the hotel, and the difficulty in renting the car, the hotel does not have its own parking space, however, thanks to the availability of a private property that allowed you to leave the key to the hotel, I can't feel anything wrong. Great hotel with great people.

The hotel is located in an optimal position in the Mangalem part of Berat, you can reach both the castle and the center on foot with the various localities and restaurants. Beautiful location, owner also available in presenting Berat and the activities that you can do in the surroundings, and in addition perfectly speaks Italian. Beautiful and spacious room, small but functional bathroom.

Good choice

Berat is an amazing city and good starting point for many activities. Vila Aleksander is a wonderful place ideally located with spectacular view ! The room has all the charme of the city of the 1000 windows. The couple that manages the hotel will do anything to give their clients a perfect service,

The perfect location

I had read that the dinner menu was at 13000 lek, which seems responsible for the place. We left disappointed and feeling that we were being cheated when we paid for the meal. Indeed he charged us all the dishes on the menu, for 80€ to 2 (tariff unimaginable in Albania and even see theft) for one flight) with 2 desserts 3 glasses of wine and 2 dom.mage, we were delighted with our stay here.

The hotel is perfectly located in the Mangalem Quarter of Berat to explore the rest of the town from. There are quite a lot of steps leading up to the entrance so pack lightly if you think you'll struggle. Our double room was very comfortable with access to the lower terrace. The upper terrace has amazing views of Berat and is where you'll be served breakfast from if the weather is nice. If you visit in the summer months you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful flowers that decorate both terraces too.

Fantastic experience: wonderful reception, elegant structure, spacious and clean room, impeccable amenities but above all a wonderful location under the castle with a terrace with a spectacular view.

That's great.

This was the most beautiful hotel on our trip to Albania with the nicest host. A very beautifully restored old villa with a great view of the still snow-capped mountains. The host offered us a three-hour good dinner on the upper terrace. Unfortunately it rained for breakfast then, so we couldn't have breakfast on the terrace.

The hotel is located in the Mangalem district of Berat: it is really nice, clean and with a terrace with a beautiful view, on which you can consume the summer breakfast, which is served directly at the table and includes good sweet and salty foods. The owner speaks well Italian and is a great help for those who do not know foreign languages.

We booked an upper double and were given the number 4, it's very dark with an interior window the bed isn't extra large like a pony. The breakfast is fine. The right owner The site is pretty but not suitable for someone who has difficulty walking. To get there you have to go through very steep alleys and once there are many stairs. The best is undoubtedly the community terrace where breakfast is served. The rules are: Breakfast from 8 to 9 unless you miss breakfast. Toca madrugar. Breakfast time fast Y...you are forbidden to bring drinks and food to the hotel outside at 10:00 AM. No we will ever return.
