White Sand Cam Ranh Hotel

Needed a basic room near the airport for one night. Literally just in and out, and it totally served its purpose. The room was clean, bathroom big enough and even had a large balcony overlooking the hills. The mattress was a but uncomfortable, basic tv channels but hey, it was $45 so you can’t expect much and I totally arrived with no expectations at all. I will not stay there again purely because of the bad mattress because I had back pain for a few days after but the rest was totally fine.

Totally fine! 

Yes they have a shuttle service but it goes at 8 am and then you can come back at 12 or 6pm very long day, if you stay tell 6 or you can leave at 2.  They relay need to have more shuttles times since its45 minutes into town, the driver that drives the shuttle really does not know how to drive, or he drives 50 kilometre or he is taking on his phone or watching tv, yes while driving they really need to have some one that knows how to drive , the beach is not 10 min like every one says it’s over a hour to walk, after talking to the manger he informed me there is shuttle service , but they don’t show it anywhere at the hotel just a secret I guess, the breakfast is the worse we had every had in veitnman the 5 weeks we where he, the bathroom shower is over the toilet ?. Not sure why they do not have shower curtain, overall don’t stay here if youcan , but if the price is really cheap then maybe and one more thing no one speaks English 

Very far from the city

The hotel is pretty clean and friendly staff. They have good collection of food choices here including breakfast, brunch, lunch, snacks and dinner. However, there’s nothing special to do in Cam Ranh, and there’s no tour offerings from the hotel. We had to book tour and find things to do by our own. 

Clean, modern facility and good services. 

Unless you expect to spend only a night in the room without food this hotel is not recommended. The hotel is in the middle of no where (relatively close to the airport though) and there is no restaurants in the area. If you want to go anywhere you will have to take a taxi or shuttle bus to Nha Trang. 
The hotel restaurant is more like a highway diner and the rooftop bar is non existing. The pool smelled like chlorine and the noice from the road made it quite unappealing to take a relaxing swim. 
Unless you are freakishly in love with tacky plastic decorations the atmosphere is more of an abandoned place then a 4 star hotel.
The personnel speaks very poor English, so don’t expect to be able to communicate with them unless you speak Vietnamese. 
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the bathroom floor was flooded when showering and the showerhead could have used a descaling.
