Spacious units in an unbeatable waterfront location 10minutes from town. Only wished their free shuttle was offered during our stay. It was off-season so parking wasn’t an issue.

We Liked that there was a bar onsite.  We loved the hot tub and loved being right on the water!!  The staff was very nice and helpful!!  Its was a great stay!

Very quaint, charming place to stay in the Newport area. The front desk staff was so accommodating when we needed a late check-in. Would definitely stay here again!!

Had to stay here because our original hotel reservation in town was "lost." RCI properties are known to be outdated, but this one took the cake. Room smelled like a musty basement. The deck to our unit had an AC fan blasting non-stop, so we couldn't actually sit out there and enjoy the view (we assumed we got this room because we were sent from the other hotel). The AC in the bedroom upstairs wouldn't work, so I died of heat the first night, but then I figured out the windows opened. Staples in the (nasty) carpet almost punctured my toes a couple times. Amenities are non-existent. No way I'd use the pool. And, they offer a shuttle into town, which was great... but it only ran one night we were there. Needless to say, we left early.

Absolute dump

We booked this for my son's rehearsal dinner. They were given weeks of advance notice about the guest count. They were an entire table short when it came to the point when we had to sit down and had to scramble to put in more seats.

Not a chance I would ever go back

They also lost my car keys for 12 hours.

The staff had tables for about 45, and we had ordered for 55 t0 60 people

We stayed in a tower unit which had a king bedroom and bathroom on an upper level with a pull-out Queen sofa, kitchenette and living room downstairs.  Upon arrival in the middle of a torrential rainstorm we discovered that there was no easy access to get our luggage into the reception area and had to Lug 2  suitcases upstairs.  Reception area was not modern or welcoming with ugly blue dated stained carpeting throughout and the feel was more of a Jiffy Lube waiting area then a $500+ night townhouse rental office.   Our unit was one floor up and accessible via stairs or elevator.  Off elevator you walk down a long hallway with stained blue carpeting and dirty white paint on walls.  There is a musty dirty odor throughout hallway and into condo unit.  It smelled like the attic of an old house in the summer.  The unit was roomy with a mini kitchenette and living room with a tiny bathroom and shower stall.  Lighting is dark and overall decor is dated with dark colors and cabinets.  The pull-out queen size sofa was basically just metal Spring.  The bed linen provided in the closet came with a dirty mattress foam pad that was stained and the cover on the actual mattress also had yellow stains on it.  The deck off of the living room is small with plastic table and chairs.  Paint is peeling on clapboard and floor boards are under painted weathered and soft in some spots.  There is a noisy AC unit on the deck which when running makes it impossible to have any conversation or peace.  Upstairs bed is soft and bouncy and uncomfortable and there is a slightly damp feel to the sheets and covers.  Bathroom is mediocre with a decent shower and a spa tub. Water pressure is non-existent.  I did find a water bug running around on the floor the first night.  Overall I would say this is probably a two to three star resort that desperately needs updating and maintenance. The View was the most spectacular part of the stay.  Also the unit was very convenient to the wedding location at the Ocean Cliff next door that we had come to attend.  However we were expecting a lot more for $530 per night. I would not stay here again.For the money that we paid,  I definitely felt like we were ripped off

Outdated ..no upkeep..and not very clean

This is a timeshare that rents out condos.  We stayed 2 nights along with other family when attending a family member's wedding reception at Ocean Cliff Hotel which is located adjacent to this property. Our unit was more spacious than a hotel room and had a kitchenette with toaster, coffee pot (with one coffee pod), dishes etc. The view is beautiful and it was convenient to the wedding. Furnishings could use a little updating but unit was clean and there was a nice outdoor deck with a table for extra seating. The staff was very friendly and helpful when checking in and advising on take outs.  However, If you stay here, you need to understand the configuration of the "tower" units. We had one bedroom downstairs (full bed and very small bathroom) and one large bedroom with bath upstairs (king bed) at the top of a full flight of stairs.I had called the hotel direct prior to booking to find out about the unit because my elderly parents can not go up stairs.  We were informed that there were elevators to access these "tower" units but I was not informed before our stay or when we arrived that the 2nd level bedroom has its own entrance on the 3rd floor and can also be accessed by elevator!!! I wish this had been explained to me when I called the hotel directly to discuss accessibility for handicapped parents. I had had a lengthy discussion about best unit for our situation. Unfortunately we did not discover the elevator access to 2nd level bedroom until the end of our stay and my parents were not as comfortable as they could have been in the larger bedroom.  Finally, these condos are not that close to restaurants or convenience stores. There is no coffee in the lobby except for vending machines, so bring your quarters and stop at the grocery store before hand.

OK stay

We booked the week as a timeshare exchange, and were pleasantly surprised when we walked in and saw the size of the place (large living room, limited kitchen, two bathrooms, and large bedroom).  But the walls and ceiling are paper thin; we could hear conversations from next door, and it seriously sounded like the folks upstairs were either running laps, doing aerobics, or moving furniture almost all the time until they went to bed.  Maintenance is also an issue.  The safe didn't work when we tried to lock up the laptop, etc., and they wouldn't send someone to fix it while we were there, which sort of defeats the purpose of a safe.  The DVD player didn't work; after three attempts to fix it, it still didn't work.  There were several items missing from the check-in inventory (e.g., alarm clock), the heater in the bedroom was so filthy that it couldn't possibly be used; other parts of the unit hadn't been cleaned in some time (e.g., top of fridge, all the louvered doors), etc.  It seemed like one little issue after another, adding up to dissatisfaction.

Spacious unit, but....

We made a reservation for a week and loved the area, local restaurants, and the town. Can't wait for the next time.
