Checked in and the room was a non smoking room tracking of smoke and had not been cleaned. 2nd room door was broken and the smoke detector was hanging off wall and beeping. Lamps didn’t work. 3rd room had only small cheap lamps by bed. Other lights didn’t work. Smoke detected was off wall laying under a cabinet. Worst place we have ever been. Saw one man whose room wasn’t cleaned and they gave him bed clothes to change it himself. 😟

Very cheap but very dirty, the facilities are very old and they never refunded me the deposit of $50.00 Dollars and on the receipt is only a deposit of $1.00 Dollars!!! A big scam because by making the claim you can only make the claim for $1.00 Dollars!!!

I will let the photos speak for themselves, I will give it less than 1 star.  It is a shame that they bring third world standard to the US! 

It shows both the power and the ugliness of capitalism.  Price the room low and wring out the profit (because there is no costs of maintenance and basic costs) and still fill the hotel because there is a demand!

OYO Hotel sent me multiple emails asking for a review so here goes.  I stay in cheap motels all the time but this is the worst I've experienced.  Wifi didn't work (tried 2 networks), front door was difficult to close, bathtub coating was half gone, carpet not affixed to the floor in spots, mattress needs to be replaced, smoke detector missing.  I could go on and on. The rooms shown on the internet look decent but mine was awful.  Believe all these bad reviews- find somewhere else to spend the night.

The Worst

Are you kidding me you want a review? This must me Joke. Ok here you go. First of all I came to The hotel and your night clerk could not be bother to wait on me she was on her cell talking to her boy friend. Then when I final got her attention she took for every getting The information because she continue to talk to her boy friend she could not even put Th e phone down. Customer service I don’t think they fingered that out yet! HELLO !!!!!!

Second go to my room and the door would not  open. Once inside the dirty room.  I open up the shower curtain and find a the tub had pubic hair in And rust I am very tired and then I pull the bed spread back to find the bed sheets had cum on them from the last couple who slept in the bed. 

The room was dirty and no toilet paper  I guess you wanted me to use my hand After going number 2 and wash it off in the sink. Oh that right no soap in the room. No I am just pissed so go back down to the window to get the attention of he night clerk she was to busy talks and on her cell phone still. 

I so exhausted I just laid my own towel  on the bed spread. And I when to bed. 

You ask for a review of this stay? I have couple of suggestions:

1) get new night clerk and have rule about being on cell phone when customer is checking in.

2) clean you rooms up and make Th e air and heater work.

3) how about Quality Control check of the room. Before you rent it ou fo the night.

4) how about supply of soap and toilet paper or is it t he expectation that you use your hand to wipe your butt.

5) close down if you can do the 4 other rules above because The Heath department for the state of Mississippi would love to visit you hotel.

We booked for tonight December 27 online. We arrived go ths hotel around 10 pm. Before even entering where the reception desk is, there was this very putrid smell coming from the hotel, that should have been our first warning sign. We were assigned room 117, and when we went to go check the room, the smell got worse. We had also reserved for a 2 queen bedroom and were give a one bed room, so we asked to change the room to fit our reservation. They changed me to the room to 118, as soon as we entered the room smelled equally as putrid as the room next door, and there were roaches over the room. I was able to take a picture as proof. We went to the front desk again but all they wanted to do was change rooms again, but we had checked 2 rooms already, so we did not want to risk it. We asked for our reservation to be cancelled but they did not want to give us our money back even though we provided proof of the conditions of the rooms. The face book reviews are so misleading and false, this place was disgusting and I don't recommend for anyone to stay there

Terrible

I figured a 27$ hotel was gonna be bad but... First waited 20 min to get someone to come to the window and it was only 7:30... Then he tried to charge us 50 when clearly Google lists it at 27$... Paid 36 but whatever... Gave us a room... One key for two people... The room? Oh I should have known but nothing could have prepared me for.   No lamp shades.. one pillow on the king sized bed.. dirty towels. Dirty sheets .. dirty tub... cigarette burns on everything..  no cable on a TV that was bolted down but clearly had been broken off before... A hole in the curtain closed with a spring clip and toilet paper stuffed in the peep hole... 

Had to get another room.   The staff thought that was funny. WOW.

Unbelievable

Another abandoned hotel that tries to attract tourists like the other OYOs in Jackson. Because of the price, the hotel is in ruins, obviously bought by a chain of sleeping merchants.

Get out of here.

This is a terrible place to stay, bugs, smells and carpet is not attached to floors.
Elevator does not work, you have to carry your suitcases up the stairs.
Bad neighborhood,,,gun shots heard all night and loud music!!   AC never got cold.

THE WORST!!!!!

First off bugs were on my sheets room looked as though it was not very clean went back down stairs to get a refund and was told no. Roaches on the wall and red stains on the sheets. Terrible how these people are treating it guest dont see how they are still open horrible living conditions. Finally got my money back after telling manager i would call the cops
