My daughter and I stayed here for 2 nights and I will stay here again next time I come! I mean seriously, it’s a budget motel. It seems like too many people are expecting far too much for far too little. I will admit, when we first got there I was definitely unsure of the place, but after getting into the room and getting settled we were good! I did have a super hard time getting someone to answer the phone the day we left, but I get that there just aren’t a lot of people that want to work right now. The day we left I realized that I had left my Apple Watch in the room and we were already 3 hours away headed home. It took me calling for 1 hour to finally get someone. And I still had to call back a few times after that. But they had found it and put it up for me at the front desk. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the people were polite. For what I paid for I will say that I definitely got my money’s worth!!

It wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t bad.

Sink and tub were dirty.  Drapes were tattered,  soap and shampoo holders looked like they had been repaired with caulk which looked moldy.  Shower curtain had mold and mildew all over the bottom.  Gross!

I don't believe the bathtub or the bathroom sink has ever been cleaned.

Great last minute hotel room after a busy day at touring the USS ALABAMA park . The staff was very friendly and helpful. The price was right and on the way home .The room was clean and comfortable.
Would recommend.

After USS ALABAMA tour

We were traveling and stopped for the night.  We checked into two rooms next to each other, 125 and 127.  The evening shift front desk person was very nice and tried to help.
Issues with room 125.  There was NO fire alarm.  As this is a basic requirement and should be reviewed by the Americas Best Value, means that as a corporation, Red Lion and ABVI do NOT care about guest safety, and are willing to endanger lives for profit.  Also there was no sprinkler system in the room.  The room was not clean, floors were dirty and dust bunnies abound.  There were not amenities in the room, i.e. no ice bucket, no bathmat, no soap or shampoo.  Also the drapes were ripped, TV reception was very poor.
Issues with room 127.  There was no sprinkler system in the room.  Although there was a fire detector, I wonder if it worked.  Again Red Lion is putting profits ahead of guest safety.  Room was dirty, with plenty of dust bunnies.  TV reception was poor.  There was no clock in the room.
In general the hotel was in poor condition, and there was apparently broken equipment just sitting around.  The hotel in general was dirty and could use a good pressure washing.  Given the general cleanliness, I was happy I had disinfectant with me to protect my health.  Again, this clearly indicates the corporate attitude about guest health and safety.
In the morning when it was time to check out, the front office was closed at 8 am.  NO ONE WAS THERE AND IT WAS LOCKED.  What would have happened if an emergency occurred and there was no one there.  Again, this clearly indicates a corporate attitude about guest safety.
One last thing was at check out a receipt could not be provided, nor made available. IT IS FEDERAL LAW THAT A RECEIPT HAS TO BE PROVIDED.   THIS IS LAW.  ONCE AGAIN RED LION AND ABVI HAVE AN ATTITUDE THAT CODES AND LAWS ARE NOT IMPORTANT, JUST PROFIT.
ALTHOUGH MY PROTEST HERE WILL NOT IMPACT YOUR PROFITS, I WILL MONITOR THE NEWS FOR THE HOTEL.  IF THERE IS A FIRE AND SOMEONE IS INJURED, I WILL MAKE SURE THE LOCAL OFFICIALS KNOW THAT YOU KNOW ABOUT THE DEFICIENT CONDITIONS.

America's WORST Value Inn

Stayed overnight after reading review, some of which were not perhaps correct.  The motel is old but "very" clean with plenty of hot water and a bed ones does not want to leave.  The family owned business were a pleasure to deal with and went out of their way to ensure we were happy with the accommodations.  Price is a very important issue wjhere the rates are perhaps much cheaper than most but one lacks nothing.  Getting a room near the office is close to the road where loud vehicles can cause a distrupted sllep.  The air conditioner certainly  helps us sleep very well throughout the night.  Would we return is the question with an answer of :definitely:!

Best Kept Secret

I got a room at America Best Value and cancelled it after the guy ran my card because i needed a room on the first floor due to my knee. He said that he did not have a room on the first floor. Remind you there was only 4 cars in the whole parking lot and this was around 3 PM. However, when i finally got it cancelled he only refunded half ( yes HALF) of my money back. Talking about it is a 15 minute time window to cancel the room for a refund. yes a refund, not the full refund. If this is Americas Best value to rip off people for there money for a room they have not set foot in then somebody got their value all screwed up. Its not worth it. i went right down the street and got another room which to me is better. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS PLACE. if you can spend the extra money and go somewhere else... Marianna Florida Americas Best Value in Marianna Florida behind McDonalds is a joke and needs to turned into a parking lot for the trucker.

A rip off

Thanks to the price gouging in Panama City, we ended up staying at Americas Best Value Inn in Marianna. It was an experience of epic proportions of a lousy hotel. Where do I begin? The carpets were dirty and in desperate need of replacement. I kept my shoes on the whole time.  The sheets on one of our beds was stained so my husband slept in a sleeping bag liner on top of the bed. There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room that looked as though they came straight out of the dump. They were white and heavily discolored. The inside of the microwave was filthy. The chairs in the rooms had stains. The bathroom door wouldn't close. The TV was very small in one of the 2 rooms we had. When the room was painted, nothing was masked so paint slop all over the place. I had only lotion as a toiletry in the room. When I asked for shampoo and conditioner, I was told that the lotion could be used as conditioner. In one of the rooms, the lights between the beds didn't work. That was because there was a hole in the wall where the electrical socket was supposed to be. The hot water was so cool you didn't really need to turn on the cold water. I don't think they used fabric softener when they washed the towels. For the free breakfast, you got pastries, 2 kinds of cereal and bread for toast. We ended up walking to the McDonalds next door. Now possibly some of this could be excused if the hotel were failing, but the owner? general manager? showed up in his Mercedes. Clearly, the intent was to spend as little money as humanly possible on the hotel and its guests so that he could make as much money as humanly possible. I was so appalled by this hotel I've contacted the corporate office.

DO NOT STAY HERE

Run down outside and inside, stained sheets, blankets had holes in them. Shook the pillows and a bug dropped out of one. Carpet stunk. Partner refused to shower the next morning she just wanted to get out. Breakfast matches the quality of the room. The stairs are neglected, rubbish bins smell. Its a $29 a night motel if your broke. 2 good points, the car didn't get stolen ( there was no hint of people lurking about) and nobody broke into our room during the night. We sat up late drinking wine so we could crash without thinking about it. Yuk!

Revolting, Worst Motel ever stayed at

Yes the rooms are nasty and have a funny smell and very filthy.  The only good thing is quite and surrounded by a lot of good restaurants. The shower rack fell off the wall like it was a ghost in there boo LOL   And yes the McDonald’s lovers there is a McDonald’s beside this motel just bring you a roll of toilet paper with you.   

Nasty filthy stinky

The worst experience I ever seen after paid of $90 per day price. Attaching photos will give an idea of hotel standard. Breakfast is also not good. Front desk not helpful. I have reported for a stinky smell they just ignore my request. Overall I will not prefer anybody.Thanks
