Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City

Our recent stay at Hilton Universal City was great. It’s an excellent location for getting over to Universal Studios Hollywood as it’s just a 10 minute walk away and it is also easy to drive from the hotel to other locations like the LA Zoo, etc. All the staff we interacted with at the hotel were great. The housekeeping was excellent as well and each day we returned to a clean room with fresh towels. My kids really loved the pool area as well along with the various games they have down there like ping pong, giant connect four, and giant chess. While we didn’t make use of it, I also liked the fact that they had a vending machine full of all kinds of various things like deodorant, tooth paste, medicine, etc. Makes it easy to get an item at all hours of the day in case you forget to pack something. The food was good as well at the breakfast buffet. We also went to the Starbucks while there. While it isn’t a full Starbucks but instead a hotel offering with Starbucks products, we still enjoyed all the offerings…especially the cinnamon roll or the ham and cheese pretzel croissant! Will definitely stay here again if we come back out that way for Universal Studios or a long weekend in LA/Hollywood.
