It was very hot onces we got in. Had to turn on AC 🤬 the fridge as well was turned off. I understand they want to save $$ but my kids were really hot and the room didn’t get cool for like 2 hours after!!! Plus I had few snacks in the frigde opened it later on and found cockroaches!!! Disgusting… also they only had 1 pillow for each bed!!! We’ve never been at a place with this bad service!!! Only 2 towels and they were stained and dirty!! Water was hot, couldn’t regulate it cooler.. tub was so nasty!! Really DISAPPOINTED! Do no fool yourself by the pictures they post.. just to catch your eye, they do look like that but really bad service. Will be leaving pictures for reference!! 
Do not recommend.. there are better places for $70 😒 not like this place we thought was going to be at least like Super 8 … I think even that one is better 👎🏼

Note: We had two rooms for our family, so not all of the following things were observed in one room; rather they were observed for at least one of the two rooms. 

Pros: Someone was on duty even though we had a middle-of-the-night check-in. Both individuals we interacted with in the office were polite. 
One bed out of the four seemed clean and comfortable, and the pillows felt fairly new. The A/C worked well in both rooms. Water pressure was not a problem, nor was hot water. The mini-fridge and microwave were both pretty new and looked clean. The rooms had hard floors instead of carpet.

Cons:  When we arrived, there were some "questionable characters" hanging around. Take that for what you will.   
All business is currently conducted through a window and guests are not allowed in the lobby. This means that any current description that says continental breakfast is available here (including the description on Priceline) is incorrect. 
Three out of four beds had what appeared to be blood or other brownish stains of significant size on the linens, as did at least a couple of towels. 
The coating on the bathtub had chunks chipped out and the caulking was separating/cracking. The faucet diverted only about half the water to the shower. The shower curtain had mildew along the bottom. 
The rooms did not seem to have been thoroughly cleaned in some time. In fact, the floors didn't really look to have been even completely swept. The light/fan in the bathroom looked almost clogged with dust.
Each room had less than half a roll of toilet tissue when we arrived, and no other toiletries were offered (not even a bar of soap). Towels were taken for laundry the first night but were not replaced and had to be obtained from the office. There was no iron and the ironing board did not have a cover.
One section of baseboard was separated from and falling off the wall, an electrical outlet was basically halfway out of the wall, and paint drips/smears were on basically every surface. A piece of wood held the sliding window closed as a "lock." One room had a chain lock for the door while the other seemed to have had its chain lock pulled off the wall. One room's closet bar was broken in half. One room's smoke detector had been pulled off the ceiling. 

In short: I don't recommend it at all.

Staying here was okay but to many drug dealers at this place be careful everyone I won't stay here again Asian man I believe works here I seen get drugs from this place and white guys and etc but they seem not to care about this matter to many fights too godbless this place really not coming back here no way

good location convenient to i-12 every time we come to town we stay here. Room has freeze and microwave.overall its ok for the price we pay for the room.the room was well clean.cracker burrel mcdonald taco bell all near by.

Lobby closed at 6:00 pm???
Left shower on for over 90 minutes, water never got warm!!!!!! Tub flaking so badly my left foot got cut!!!! Ceiling plaster damp beside moldy curtain.

For a couple of $$$ more, go next door and get hot water.

TA wouldn't let me give them a NO STAR, so they got One.

Post-Katrina level accommodations 

We mostly go for motels/hotels that we know will be of a good standard but on this occasion decided to risk a budget hotel. It's not always necessary to pay top price for somewhere decent and we decided to risk a night at $45 plus tax. On this occasion we were proved wrong, the place reflected the price paid. 
In the reception there was a strong smell of curry. We both like curry but it's hardly appropriate under those circumstances. The bedding was clean, however it was downhill from there. The shower was just a hand set on a bracket over the bath and the following morning we discovered that the best you were ever going to get out of it was cold water. Brrr. An electric cable, loosely contained in a plastic tube ran along the bathroom floor alongside the skirting board from door to bath. The bath itself had seen better days (but don't know how long ago). The tv was the old style huge contraption in a cabinet. There were chunks knocked off some of the furniture.The chair at the desk was rocky and we definitely would not have considered sitting in the grubby armchair. The bottom track for the window to slide open had not seen any form of cleaning for a long while. 
Breakfast matched the rest of the experience. Very little orange juice and milk but the woman on reception heard us arrive and she did top up both jugs. She also brought 2 muffins. No risk of having a second one then. The moral seems to be you do get what you pay for.

2 seniors on a road trip

You can't want more at this motel than you can expect for $40 a night (for 2 people). The air conditioning was a little noisy, the walls in the room have scratches, the neighborhood is not as trustworthy now (although ultimately nothing happened) and breakfast is rather lean compared to other motels.

Good for the price.

The hotel is very affordable but several things to consider.

The pros:
- Affordable
- Get a breakfast.  Plenty of space in breakfast area.  Breakfast spread was okay.

The not so good:
- The desk help is not too attentive (even when bell is rung) to get more breakfast items (even coffee).  
- The main issue was the area and type of people staying at hotel.  The area around the hotel is not really good and there was alot of activity outside of hotel around mid-night.  This is probably the first time considered leaving the hotel at night due to concern around safety.  The hotel appears to get alot of construction people who leave early so don't expect alot of sleep without being woken up.

Main thing is you need to be on lookout always for safety at night or early morning if you come in from outside.

Cheap but watch out

You hear the trains, on a busy road, a clean, comfortable room, a small swimming pool in the parking lot, a proper breakfast with waffles, cereal and toast in a room next to the reception.
